16 years old and this is MY music. My dad (52 years old) taught me what real music is. Beatles, Cat stevens, Pink floyd, The doors.. Etc. I'm so glad I know what real music is. Thumbs up if you're a teenager and THIS IS YOUR MUSIC.
I saw this tour back in 94 at the then Hoosier Dome. It was the first dating anniversary with my now hubby! This is still the best concert I've ever been to and I cherish the memory!
i swear, whenever im down or in a bad mood, listening to Floyd always makes it better...this is such a great tune. I love how Floyd does so many great instrumentals...
Noi c'eravamo!
The big ass bohr/pig is fucking awesome! Love me some Floyd. Love Meddle. Love echoes. Love it all! Dark Side was the first ever vinyl I ever bought in ~1979! Zappa's Sheik Yerbouti was my 2nd album! FIne fine choices be both!
boar not bohr! Bohr was Neils, the Lord God Father & King of the Quantum! Who himself stood on the shoulders of of other giants just as big like Ernst, Schrodinger, Planck & Heisenberg (and of course, Newton, Einstein, Descartes, La Grange, Euler, Maxwell, Ohm, Volta, Watt, et. al.)
This was the song that made me a Pink Floyd fan back in 1971. My cousin said he could show me a band that would make me stop listening to the Beatles. I played the grooves off my vinyl Meddle LP that summer and Pink Floyd have been my favorite band ever since. If I was marooned in space with only one record to listen to for the rest of my life it would be the 1994 Pulse concert.
The first concert I attended was Pink Floyd in Columbus, Ohio, in 1994. I will never forget my brothers and I fighting the stoned crowds, shoving our way into the stadium, and seeing that big steel structure bathed in dark purple during "On the Turning Away". I always wonder where that magnificent stage is today. "One of These Days" is in my top five Floyd songs, and seeing it live certainly made an impact on me when I was a young bass guitarist.
Too bad most kids these days cant appreciate the awesome sounds of the old bands...THIS..to me...is what music is all about...been a Pink Floyd fan since I was a young'n...48 and grandpa of 3..still rockin the Floyd..
Had the 70's as a teenager listening to this great band & in my late 20's saw them live! (3x)What an experience I will never forget & so glad I grew up in those days! Still jam to them.
UNVERGÄSSLICH!!...so eine Live-Show+Music sucht "seines Gleichen!! Glücklich dem der sie 1 Mal gesehen hat;-)))) THX für dies geile Viedeo!!!!
This song scared the crap out of me as a kid and to this day it's one of my Floyd favorites...amazing work...blows my mind what can be done with instrumental and one line!
I was really drunk before a Floyd show in '87 and they opened with this, I no longer was drunk, I lept to my feet and cheered- never expecting O o T Days to be played. Best Band Ever!
Whaouuuu
I was at the earls court show on this tour and at docklands for the distant sound of thunder tour and they are in my eyes and ears the best performances ive ever seen!
First time hearing this song I remember my heart start beating faster and faster, my smile starting to get wider and wider, my spine started getting this feeling that gave me goosebumps and my hair started to stand in my skin, this is about the 9993487234th time I've heard this song, and I get the same feeling every time.
OMG this is fucking good...the best no doubt...the lights, the stage structure, the guys, the bass, the crowd at the end of the song... I think never a band will make somehting like this 4 good guys did...they made history and thats it... God bless these 4 fellows,.
The Floyd, Definetly ahead of there time.No one comes close!! Saw them in '72 when dark side came out. Awsome surround sound back then. Long live rock & roll!!
so i showed this song to my friend before school (am trying to get her to appreciate the magic that is pink floyd) and two-ish minutes pass when we here something oddly familiar. we joke about it until we realize.... HEY!!! IT'S THE DOCTOR WHO THEME MUSIC!!!! i love it when life combines my two greatest loves into one~
I love it how the hypnotic halluninagenic trance you seem to be lost in for the first half of the song just explodes at 3:49 into a crazy ass roller coaster ride of wild adventures for the second part of the song. This is something that dubstep or woop doop music as my dad says can never achieve. One of the few songs that actually has true beauty.
I'm 20 years old, song was created before my birth,I cried listening to it first time, today they are my fav band,I'm hardcore fan of Linkin park, though I don't know everything about Pink floyd ,like I know everything about LP,Pink floyd is at my #1 most fav bands list
Saw this version (and many others over the years) in Philadelphia. Five us went 30 rows from the stage, just center right. So we take us a Floyd newbie along, she is young, 24, a few beers in her, a bit of herb and at about the 3:50 mark she goes and loses it, loses it bad. "I can't be here right now" was her only words as she departed for the tunnel. Later at the car (yeah, we stayed, she was on her own !) we found her sitting there, "That was just to intense" the only words she spoke. Nice !
I love Pink Floyd and my dad loves them too. When I was a little kid dad always played them so i likes their music. But no one else listen to them so I´m a bit of an outsider... :(
First time I saw Floyd live back in 72' they were touring Meddle and this track was one of the hilights. They did the whole show bathed in deep blue lights and no other effects.Gardens Auditorium,Vancouver,in front of about three thousand people.Same venue not quite two years later for the Dark Side tour.Man,those were the days.
Pink Floyd Rules - They knew things everyone else didn't and still don't. They're music speaks for itself, and by the look on his face, thats always been there, David Gilmour has always known it. They deserve their place in history because their music has sparked the imagination of the entire planet. They are timeless, with the quality of being eternal, ageless, immortal, and not affected by time.
I have been to over 100 concerts, and Pink Floyd was the absolute best, hands down.
I seen this tour in 1994 and it totally blew me away !
Going back to the early 70's, Floyd always had the best sound system!
16 years old and this is MY music. My dad (52 years old) taught me what real music is. Beatles, Cat stevens, Pink floyd, The doors.. Etc. I'm so glad I know what real music is. Thumbs up if you're a teenager and THIS IS YOUR MUSIC.

I love how Floyd does so many great instrumentals...
43 people got brain damage by Pink Floyd's amazing music and couldn't tell what was thumbs down or thumbs up.
This is one of the best songs to listen to while running. It knocks at least a minute off my time.
So much great music played in this concert. And so much more left on the table.
Noi c'eravamo! Grande!

After all these years this song still makes the hair on my arms stand up.
I was in Vancouver when they came for the 1994 tour. When the pigs came out everyone in the crowd freaked and went nuts! It was wonderful!
I was there in '94. 8th row on the right side in Montreal, May 23rd 1994. Damn that was a sweet concert!
I was really drunk before a Floyd show in '87 and they opened with this, I no longer was drunk, I lept to my feet and cheered- never expecting O o T Days to be played. Best Band Ever!
is an excellent video showing the true hypnotic power of the music of Pink Floyd
No One will ever surpass the Floyd. Once in a lifetime to listen and enjoy.
Probably the nest live concert I have ever seen in person, no one compares!
man! That's what i call a show.
Pink Floyd lives forever!
I never EVER tire of this footage...every single time I hear this song it's a mind trip. Amazing what artists can create in music.
I could turn all the light off and not need a light show and just hear the music...Peace and THX!
Whaouuuu
If you really think that's empty then you just don't like the music. It's the BEST version I have ever seen!
Why does Pink Floyd bring tears to my eyes?
This music flows through my blood and is part of my soul.
this song was so ahead of its time. Love it in every aspect
I was at the earls court show on this tour and at docklands for the distant sound of thunder tour and they are in my eyes and ears the best performances ive ever seen!

This is so fun to watch. And listen to. I would have loved to see these guys live.
What an awesome stage set up,, light show and outstanding music
This might have been one of the best gigs ever.. I can just imagine what standing there would've been like!
And over there in that corner there is the late great Richard Wright on his Kurtzweil keyboard! May God bless you and keep you dear Richard.

DOCTOR WHO FOR THE WIN. I knew there was a reason I loved Pink Floyd
