P12 (Penjaga (Guardian)) - Parental guidance required for audiences under the age of 12. 13 - For audiences aged 13 years old and above. 16 - For audiences aged 16 years old and above. 18 - For audiences aged 18 years old and above. P12 used to be PG13, but they change to P13 in 2013. In February 2023, P13 was split in two, 13 and 16, the 2 new classifications and P13 becomes P12, for parental guidance audiences under the age of 12.
We also had different 18 ratings, with separate categories for violent, suggestive, religious and political content. Those were consolidated into one 18 rating in 2013.
These are actually pretty similar to the ones we have in Quebec, G, PG, 13, 16, and 18
