To whoever is buying this rack, set up is very easy. Parts are lightweight and strong. The front fairing piece that needs to be preloaded *does NOT need to sit in the weather strip channel* dont be like me and fight it for a day and a half trying to get both to sit in the channel. Product is amazing. Love all the extra hardware. I also opted out of the second cross member so i can still see the sky with with my sunroof 😂 this is a great purchase and great quality compared to the other racks going for +1200 dollars! And shipping is quick. Dont keep searching get this rack if you are thinking of one! Great job guys!
I Purchased this rack and installed it. Went great using this video as a guide. Looks amazing! Works better than it looks! Make sure you add more than enough silicone - ask me how I know :) . Evan and team, how about a video for the 40" pathfinder lightbar install for this rack/4runner? Please?
We made a revision to those mounts. The angled hard mounts now go on the front with no block. 3M tape will go underneath that mount and sit into the channel. Give us a shout if you need help!
It's very difficult to test and answer these types of questions because we are not a vehicle manufacturer. Most of the load weight comes from the mounts on the actual vehicle. Most aftermarket racks similar to ours have similar weight capabilities. It will hold a roof top tent and 2 to 3 average people easily.
Hey guys, what's the total weight of the rack installed? I am curious how it compares to other brands. I am quite interested, would just like to compare specs
It does not touch the roof. There's slotted adjustability, so you could bring it down to touch the roof or you could move it up to have about a 3/4" gap or so. We made it adjustable. And the Rago Fab molle panel does work with our roof rack.

No other option, but it's extremely minimal of a light bar recess. Its basically a full fairing. And we've sold hundreds of these without any complaints so far of increased wind noise as a result of not running a light bar. Hope this helps!

Thank you David
can y'all add slots on top and side of the cross bars to add carriage bolts? having to take off the cross bars to add hardware is a major pain.
Having that bumper shows off the suspension curious what brand control arms and where to get them

Does it come with silicon?
Great design! New subscriber! We are about to buy a 4 Runner and I will most likely be buying this rack!
Love to hear that!
You put the hard mounts on the front. But you said they go on the rear. Can you clear up wear the mounts go again please?

What’s the weight capacity of this rack???
Does the fairing touch the roof? And any exterior molle panel work with your rack?

Shouldn’t you use red loctite on the mounting bracket bolts instead of silicone? Silicone is used as adhesive and to seal stuff lol
No, the silicone is used to seal the holes against any water intrusion from rain/etc.
I’m confused as why you don’t answer any of the weight limits questions for this rack??

No full fairing option for those that do not want a light bar? Deal killer for me and increases wind noise..... I so wanted to buy this

@@BackwoodsAdventureMods damn...I ended up getting a Prinsu
Any ladders in production? we would love to! , to match the drifter rack. thanks from NEA🤝🤝
Unfortunately, nope! We just make the rack.
The middle and front are not hard bolted to the roof?
The middle is, the front uses a preload from the other two to disperse the weight.
So it doesn't come with the lights correct?
It does not.

when will these begin to ship?

Silicone in the threads…. Thats just a hard no
This provides the best possible way to prevent water intrusion.
Use anti-seize if you're feeling reluctant about the silicone on the bolts
I see this requires drilling. Hard pass😭
This rack does not require drilling at all. Not sure where you saw that.
