Copper slipp is bad for the rubber
@@iceemotomg7038 F that Rubber🤣, its cheaper to replace than whole brackets slides and pins when they gauld up and just wont work right no more.
Using caulking style grease is the best

We have seen many vehicles where the purple grease has turned to putty and made slides stick in place. So we stopped using it earlier this year.
You should be fine if you change it out every two years, as recommended. If you wait for 5 years or more, yes, you can have problems.
