We can all agree…NO PURPLE BRAKE GREASE!

Seeing more and more of this and know what people who have had problems are seeing for ourselves now. Avoid the purple Permatex grease!

We have seen many vehicles where the purple grease has turned to putty and made slides stick in place. So we stopped using it earlier this year.

You should be fine if you change it out every two years, as recommended. If you wait for 5 years or more, yes, you can have problems.
