Your guest is full of buzzwords; using soft language and simplification of what took place on the ground in WEST ASIA. Your guest refers to the PERSIAN GULF, as the Gulf, ISIS terrorist that destroyed the region, as militia, and not once your guest talked about the major role Iran has played in defeating ISIS terrorists in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon. And also your guest refers to Ansarallah, as the Houthi. And it is called the West Asia and not the Middle East. Maybe it is time for you and your guest to also move away from using colonial terminology.
Note: the negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia started during the time Hajj Qassam was a live, which he asked Adil Abdullah Mahdi to setup a meeting with the Saudi’s. China was simply the big chess piece used by Iran, Russia and China to get the Saudis to except Iran’s security terms and come under Iran security umbrella. That is why recently Saudi and UAE even decided to join Iran’s maritime security alliance in the PERSIAN GULF.

The West is are the ones with the white hats anymore, we are the bad guys in all this. As a Filipino, I do resent it very much that the Philippines is not part of this emerging multipolar world that bodes progress and security for all countries of the global south. As usual our leadership is cowardly forging ahead with it's close relationship with the west that has brought nothing to the Philippines but stagnation to the economy and maintained it's slavish dependence on the dole outs of the west with so much strings attached that we have remained the sick man of Asia and the pathetic basket case.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter said the United States has been at peace for only 16 of its 242 years as a nation, calling the country "the most warlike nation in the history of the world." From directly launching wars, backing proxy wars, stirring up inter-state hostilities to engineering "color revolutions," the United States has been involved in most of the major warfares or military conflicts since WWII.
These wars and conflicts have devastated the invaded countries, killed millions of civilians, and displaced tens of millions.William Jones, Washington bureau chief of the U.S. publication Executive Intelligence Review, has said that Russia's main concern about NATO eastward expansion has never been heeded by the United States, "which is only interested in maintaining its hegemonic status in Europe, and which has been steadily retreating from that collaborative policy which the West committed itself to after the Cold War."

China is run by crazy greedy CPP members who don’t allow freedom to the nice Chinese people they get rich by large multi national corporations operating in China china does not want to invest in technologies like the west did in order to become what the west is now but took centuries
in the contrary china pushes to be a superpower in just a few decades by
-forces intellectual property transfer from foreign companies and then copies them since they are unable to invent anything and what they produce is of shoddy quality: all gadgets made in china do not last and need to be replaced after a few uses
      -debt traps entire nations
      -forces organ transplants
-oppresses its own nice productive citizen
We the western world need to reverse and accelerate the outsourcing of our economy to china and companies which refuse need to be boycotted
-imagine shipping resources to china and than shipping back manufactured goods it is an environmental crime
globalization only serves the shareholders and not the consumers since replacing the shoddy products once or twice.... is much more costly
People such as Sachs or Wolff are communists but selling books in capitalistic $
The world always has been and always will be full of tow sided people

I wish someone reports about what the US, Israel and the IMF are doing to Lebanon and the Lebanese people. Beirut port was blown up, the US medfling in Lebsnons internsl affairs, the US firced the dollar on Lebanon, made the the dollar worth 100,000 Lebanese pounds Lebanese are starving, they have 2 hrs electricity per day, China, Russia and Iran iffered to help Lebanon free, the US does not allow it. The have a compound they call US embassy but actuslly is the biggest military base in the middle east. I know nobody will talk now, but a war coming in south Lebanon involves Lebanese Syrians, Israelis and pisdible NATO, that will make Ukraine conflict a walk in the park.

You won't get most Americans to accept this, but American Style Capitalism has actually created the conditions that mean that the US is now incapable of competing with China on a level playing field. On top of the exporting of millions of jobs, the pursuit of profit has pushed the cost of so many things to a point where a significant income is a prerequisite for survival, which means that wages have to match that, creating a fundamentally uncompetitive economy. Hence the US has concluded that war is pretty much the only area of endeavor where they still have some chance of prevailing and the window for doing that is arguably rapidly closing or already closed.

    • @two02ful

Level playing field? USA has 5,000 plus nuclear warhead stockpile while China about 450! A dying man always crunches a straw. A conventional war usa can’t win. America will not be able to replenish what it loses. Thereafter, America will turn into a pariah state. A nuclear war all will be dead. The huge debt of 31.4 trillion dollar that are hanging on usa neck, is it China doing? The huge debt are going to grow larger and heavier by the hour is the cause of UsA demise yet nothing are done to resolve it! Blame it on China? That’s the problem with American! Blame everybody but not American themselves!

American Exceptionalism is affecting its image adversely in the International setting as it shows intense hypocrisy and unfair treatment of allies and especially making the Ukrainian people sacrifice their lives to satisfy the U.S. foreign agenda ( against the Russian people ) . The Taiwanese people should watch the current dynamics of the U.S., NATO, Ukrainians, vs the Russians war closely and analyze it carefully so as not to repeat the same mistake and the big sacrifice of their people. They should not be fooled that the U.S. is really protecting and doing Taiwan a big favor !
Once Taiwan is sucked dry and there is no use of them by the U.S., they will be left hanging in the air. Just like Vietnam !

The UAE is actively trying to break Yemen up into smaller states so that the can monopolize Yemen’s ports and build military bases all over the country. The UAE is now at the beginning staging of replicating that same exact destructive formula in Somalia.

BT News, re-changning of the title of your episode to 'Gulf States' (from 'Arab Gulf States'):
I'm glad you have listened to your audience and taken a step forward in mending ties with the many Iranians whom SINCERELY support your work.
I think many Iranians will be at least be content (for the moment) with this amendment. However, please ensure the same 'hurtful action' is not repeated in the future and during future interviews please ask Rania and/or other hosts/guests to use the correct nomenclature 'PERSIAN GULF' when referring to this most historic/politically critical waterway.
I repeat, you have the respect of many Iranians and please do not jeopardise that by using terminology that feeds the mouths of those whom are pro-genocide (cultural and physical) of non-western cultures/people (many of these such people mocked Iranians like myself and others for mentioning this problematic terminology in the comments earlier this week, which BT News and other subscribers can easily read).
Thank you BT News for taking this important step!! 🙏
Finally, Thank you to all the Iranians whom raised concern regarding the incorrect nomenclature initially used/printed byb BT News 🙏
