Try to install it on the external device. It does not have the Live environment, obviously ....
fun fact the bootloader will be installed on your hdd/ssd if your making the android tv PORTABLE on a usb drive or another storage device
I have an HP 250 G7 Notebook PC that I want to boot into Android TV OS. I've tried installing it on a partition and on a USB portable drive, but it's not booting. Could you please provide guidance on the necessary BIOS settings or any other help to resolve this issue?

Ok so I followed your directions. I have an ASUS AIO ZN241c Touchscreen PC. I was able to install the Android TV as a separate partition on my SSD and I don't even need to use EASY UFI software because my bios recognizes the Android TV as a bootable partition. But I can't get the WIFI to work. I tried using the Virtual WIFI built in and it won't assign an IP. Then I manually entered the Network name, selected WPA2, and put the password I use for my other devices. But it doesn't work. Please help.

I have a question, what if you have Windows 11 and 10 duel booted? Will the two appear in the list of the boot manager together with Android TV?
If you have windows 10, and 11 dual booted, that will be managed by windows. When you access the boot screen where you can select Android TV or Windows, if you select windows it will show the Windows Version select screen for your dual boot. I hope this helps 😊
I have the same question but with Linux: if I have Windows and Linux dual booted, will both actually appear in the boot option menu with Android? (I only have Windows but if I also had a certain Linux distro [i.e. Ubuntu] I would also have asked)

@@kozeta67 It should come up with AndroidTV and whatever Linux distro you're using. If you have multiple distros installed, you will be able to pick which one you want to boot into.

Yes, you definitely can, just be sure to partition correctly if you have one drive, I advise having your most used on a full drive and Linux and Android TV partitioned to another drive each with a half of a drive

I can't connect to Wifi and when I try setting up with my phone it crashes and goes back to the screen where I need to select the Language
internet for those who don't have it, the iso file is downloading very slowly. exactly 3.2 days but works
the iso file download speed depends on you internet, it downloaded in 30 minutes for me

A tip… i once used a hard drive as a bootable drive to install windows 10.. rufus imaged the iso to the hard drive in about 30 seconds.. fast right?

this is a kernel problem on android tv. For example, many Realtek WiFi cards have not been implemented into the kernel that is being booted by Android TV.

I have an old ,but reliable Panasonic plasma Viera tv from 2005 and i use this with HDMI at the moment. I even tried VGA and it works. Just look for Aspect on the remote and try that.
Did u choose option format at NTFS or Fat32? Try install again at format ext4
Am I able to fully download android tv on a SD card or USB that's 16 or 32gb and just have a portable android tv and plug it into any computer then boot off it.

fine... i just would never put login data to whatever service in an oS installed by iso comes not offical from google-servers... so many android boxes showed off really dirty things... infected iso are such an problem..

Google play store doesn't work, TH-cam opens without Google account even if there already exists an account. When I open most apps it just crashes and goes back to the home screen.

my one is not working 😭, After ext4 it works but after restarting the partition become corrupt ☹️, if i do NTFS it shows grub boot loader but stuck at Google icon.
