I definitely agree with you on your three. Ruta Loop is my favorite, but I think the ROOP is what should win and go to Eurovision. I’ve never cared about Lithuania’s national selection until this year because of both of them. A nice surprise!
100% agree, some nice songs but the Roop is their best chance. Hopefully the public will send them all they way, but it seems that the jury splits tiebreakers which might be an issue like it was in the semi.

The Roop has the best song by far because underneath the quirky staging and choreography, the instrumental is much higher quality than your average Eurovision song. Moniqué and Ruta Loop are my #2 and #3. Monika Marija is the huge jury favorite and it wouldn't surprise me if she won since she has decent public support as well. I find her song very filler and like a dirt cheap version of Lady Gaga's Million Reasons (which is another song I dislike). I just can't appreciate American country music in Lithuania. It's also the type of song that would get completely forgotten at Eurovision after a year or two, whereas The Roop wouldn't.
yea i want Monika to go eventually, but with something that isnt going to bomb out in the semi. And I also feel like if she wins, it would feel a little like it was cos the jury was rigged tbh.the song is just a load of nothingness. We have the same top 3 and those are the ones that have a shot in ESC

@@ESCTom nothing would suprise me Tom, except The Roop winning........it is miles ahead of all the others but Lithuania does seem to be a little less edgy than the other Baltic states and I'm expecting good vocals and drab song to win...ie Monique or Maria😫😫 And save us from another tiebreak scenario scandal.....if juries want the ultimate decision, then why have televoting at all.....internally select and be damned!! We still have not received "Justice For Mirella"!!😉😉😉👍

The Roop is obviously their best alternative and should be a fine choice, but I concur with your assessment that it is uncannily close to uncanny valley. It might just fall of the rope so to speak. Ruta Loop just needed slightly better production indeed, she's just dead in the water right now. Unfair, but it is what it is.

Most of Lithuanias population is elder people so prbbl they vote for that „Unbrakable" thing or sth couse it reminds them old good times idk... in my opinion The ROOP is the ones that did the best job out there.
ESC Tom well the festival was stopped and now there is X factor instead. Not a fan of x factor myself but hey ho. This year’s winner won the Junior Eurovision a few years back and something tells me that we will not be subjected to “Maltese lyric nonsense” this year either. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

I actually made a mistake there. Compact Disco were in my top 10 so its only Montengro and Lithuania who have never been in my top 10. Montengro are away so Lithuania can strike!

OK, listened to the Roop, loved it. It won't win or anything, it's missing something, but it's very melodious and super catchy, it's stuck in my head. Also it's definitely original. And I love the Russian moves. Max Barskih has done a lot worse (coming in as a cosmonaut with alien hands coming off the ceiling sort of thing) and he's top of the pops in Ukraine and Russia so it won't do them harm there 😂
