All water in this part of the country is highly regulated. There's not enough of it to go around. Aquifers run low, rivers/lakes/creeks dry up, and even towns can lose their access to drinking water if it was not regulated.
How has your yield been so far this fall 2024? Initiatives including waving (canceling) property taxes for farmers that own less than 1,000 acres should be put in place; this would decrease inputs and there fore help with their overhead. This must be instituted as small farmers (defined as anything less than 1,000 acres totals) will be struggling this year to turn a profit, most corn farmers are looking a $1.00 per acre loss this year, extremely tragic. How are you fairing / projected to fair after all inputs? Curious what your net profit per acre will be this year. Thank you for what you do!! -October 13, 2024

99% of the population couldn’t imagine living like this. I can’t imagine not
Im apart of that 1% cause i have a farm
@@TheIronDuke18159 there’s really no other way to live
@@farmerthatflies i like farming even though it gets tough at times. farmers feed 99% of the world
great video boys. also do you combine the high moisture corn and grind it for feed
Another excellent video. Why do you have to get a permit for your own water to irrigate crops. Glad to see you getting the corn in the bin!

That’s quite a job editing all of those videos . Does just one of you do the editing ? What does your sister do these days ?
