Corn looks great! Be neat to see Big John ripping. Been looking for a smaller one I can pull with the 4250. I think ripping is definitely key in to til every few years.
Hey guys I have a 9400 I was wondering what your settings are on your pre cleaner and sieves are. I am having trouble with corn loss out the back. Thanks love your channel
The precleaner we run on the book settings. We run our sieve almost wide open. The chaffer we close down just enough to keep cob out of the tank. That's the settings I've found that gives the combine the most capacity.
Man yeah, getting after it!! Another classic movie quote.."slingshot engaged" 😂 Mannit really sounds like that ripping is the ticket! Glad you guys are and did do well on the corn!! How hard or difficult will it be to obtain the caddy for the ripper and big john? Thank you both for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing whats next!!
Sounds like I need to take some lessons from y’all I only had 120 bushels an acre, if you don’t mind me asking how much fertilizer did y’all put per acre?
Love your channel fellas. It's like watching the Dukes of Hazard in slow motion. Keep them coming.

A three shank would probably be max on the 4250.

We may need the extra money when we get done with this sorry soybean crop we are cutting.

@@DylanJoyceFarms 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nothing wrong with that 😉😉😉
Corn looks good. What’s your best corn variety this year?
Croplan 4930 did amazing. It is our 3rd year with it. LG 67C07 was also very good. We will be increasing our acres of it next year.
Is the 9400 a spike or rasp bar?
Rasp bar

100 lbs/ac DAP
200 lbs./ac Potash
100 lbs./ac AMS
6 lbs./ac Zinc Sulfate
10lbs./ac Borax for Boron
40 gallons/ac. 32%
Who knew a 9400 could run a 8row corn head
Man glad you're making good corn! Mine is pretty bad but there's next year! 😂
We started on soybeans today. I sure hope they get better.
Did you guys finish before Helene made up there
Yes we did. We got 3 inches out of it, but it got rough on the east side of the state.
Do you guys still work with that Reed guy from Tenn?
No
