Another cool thing about Windansea is that there are a lot of historic homes in the area(you can tell which ones are historic because they'll have a little plaque on the frontside of the home). That little area around there is called the Beach-Barber Tract. Mitt Romney used to have a beach-front house on Dunemere Drive. Back when he was running for president he'd sometimes vacation at that home, and secret service would shutdown entry to that street. Also, towards the left end of Windansea there's a pump-house and a porta-potty. When somebody in the local surf crew dies, people turn it into a memorial(they'll spraypaint stuff on it, paint murals sometimes, leave flowers, etc).
Long Island Mike's looks so yummy! That buffalo chicken slice looks so amazing! WOW that garden at Balboa Park Alazar Garden looks like the perfect instagram spot lol!

My husband and I just relocated to SD so we have been exploring. My hubby will love you for all those pizza places you recommended since he had to leave good ol’ deep dish behind. Thank you! You got a new subbie! 👍🏻

We are planning to check out the Civita tunnel u mentioned on ur part 1. There's a place in Old Town, called Heritage County Park, it's an area where the Victorian Houses are, I think about 6 houses. The address is 2454 Heritage Park Row, check it out! It's a nice place to go to and it's free! U can't go inside the houses but it's good to look at and for picture taken.

My wife and I are born and raised in Jersey and are always looking for pizzerias that serve great pies that remind us of back home. I will have to hit up Long Island mikes and see if it holds up. Also there is another spot in Poway that serves NY style pizza that we recently heard about not that bad. And it feels like a NY pizzeria. I am sure you know about. If not hit me up 👍🏽

Coronado Tidelands Park to kayak under the Coronado Bridge! Also North Cove is the 1st right off Vacation Road at Ingraham. Free parking where the restrooms are. The free beach has smooth white sand and where the Paradise Point bungalows that costs $400 per night.
Yo I love Long Island Mike's I feel like no one talks about that place! Never tried the Sicilian I'm definitely going to soon. Bud's Louisiana Cafe is another hidden gem in that area that I highly recommend

I hate when entitled home owners destroy beautiful things. I'm sure one of the reasons they bought the house was because of the beauty, but when others want to see it and it's now an inconvenience for them, they get rid of it.
Sadly San Diego is kind of dead right now. Majority of the best spots are closed due to covid and those that are not dont feel the same anymore. Still love Sd. Might just take a few years to get back to it’s glory. Beach is always great though, just not enough to stay for. Can always visit during summer.
The rude arrogant bike riders have ruined far too many places in San Diego that used to be great places to walk and enjoy the scenery. Now you constantly have to be ready to jump out of their way and that ruins the fun of any walk. Congratulations on being able to do videos in San Diego and somehow avoid showing any of the street bums and homeless camps that litter the city.
