Happy to see you out in the sun again!! Enjoyed the video very much. That trail was definitely treacherous. The meditation gardens were peaceful and beautiful. You could never be to cheesy for us.🧀💚🍎

I'm glad you made it to San Diego. Many argue it's the best of (maybe the Disney of) SoCal. I grew up at Spruce and Second. The footbridge is magic, not scary. I walked home from SDHS through Balboa Park. You'll like it. Some time come visit Sonoma County.

I was at the Meditation Gardens about 2 yrs ago. Your vlog gives me a better sense of SoCal. Although folks like you are native from elsewhere, a fresh first-hand look can't be beat. KCET/PBS had a guy named Huell Howser several yrs ago doing an LA/CA vlog-type show. He originally was from Tennessee. TH-cam's Mike of German in Venice is originally from Krefeld, Germany. The look, vibe, terrain & weather of SoCa seem to have more similarities to Mediterranean Europe than they do to Florida or the southeastern Atlantic coastline. But all places throughout the US & world have interesting angles.

You videos are always the best! I never knew about the Sunny Jim Sea Cave. Seems uniquely a cool place to explore. I will have to check that spot out the next time I’m in San Diego. I’m glad the sun has came out for you. It’s still rainy here in Culver City. It should let up by Tuesday. Enjoy the rest of your time in SD! 😊

I thought you'd do the counterpart to WeHo in SD. Hillcrest is much more fun and friendly. More neighborhood bars than clubs.

Had no idea there were SRF meditation gardens in the San Diego area. I know you've been to the lake shrine on Sunset in L.A. but when you get back to L.A. you really ought to check out the SRF world headquarters on the top of Mt. Washington (my neighborhood). It doesn't have a lake but it does have a zen garden and terrific views of Downtown and it's a heck of a lot quieter (no Sunset traffic). You may find the area interesting enough for an exploration including the hipster areas along Figueroa and York down the hill in Highland Park.

We live in North Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Probably head over 6+ times a year. We take our cruiser bikes. Just soak up the Ocean. Lol
I'm going to fly into LAX in Feb. Take the Train to SD along the coast. Good Times ahead!! 🤙
