Is there any place in SD you haven't explored? I can't wait for warm weather. My wife and I are planning a trip there. We are in OC so it's close. If you go to Scripps Ranch there is a cash only gem restaurant called Chez Nous off of Carroll Canyon in the business park by the Carls Jr. Their best seller is the spicy chicken melt! Everything is homemade and its run by a married couple. Once they are out of an item, they are out for the day. Super good deli!
I live Chez Nous! I usually get the chicken cordon bleu sandwich! I havent been there for years... thanks for reminding me. I love Todo sushi next door as well!

First of all, I like the content. But dude if you really respect the neighborhoods and the spots, then you won't make it so easy for people to look up...esp the areas that are not proper trails, clearly being eroded, and not for people who aren't prepared. I get that you're trying to be principled, but you're really just trying to have it both ways and you end up splitting the baby. La Mesa stairs are literally a few public walkways publicized on the city's website...Alta Ln @ Fairview Av / Beverly Dr just past Acacia Av / Canterbury Dr @Windsor Dr: www.cityoflamesa.us/298/Secret-Stairs
