Philip i want to thank you. You saved me from going to jail today 3/26/2022 reason? Because i bought a cen-tech battery charger & i though i was missing parts & man did i get mad. LOL. i went on TH-cam & found you & you saved me. Thanks again for all the help keep up the videos.
Very happy I kept you out of trouble. :) Sometimes the instructions are very hard to follow. Make a copy of the code list and laminate it to keep with the charger. It will make your life easier.
😋 Any excuse to buy another toy and oh boy it's got wheels this is serious. This battery charger will definitely come in handy when ya least expect it. I really like the digital readout and yes the codes should be kept in a handy place or even painted on the back of the unit. BTW, maybe you should start her up more often before you forget how to drive ;)
My problem is I have too much stuff. I wish the houses in Texas had basements. You don't know how much you'll miss a basement until you don't have one. As for the car the battery died on it because of not using it. If you have a car that you don't use it should be on a float charger. I wish sometimes I could take a break from driving. My wife has a license and refuses to drive. She wants to go on a road trip but that means I'll have to do the driving. I wish I could take a nap in the car on a trip. One road trip we went on I pulled over in a rest stop and went to sleep and my wife was awake watching me. :)
@@mcy2phil Too much stuff, huh? Sounds like a first world problem. I'm sure our neighbors to the south wouldn't mind taking it off your hands ;) Yes basements are nice for storage even if everything ends up smelling like earthy musk. You'll just have to resist all those spending urges, ha or consolidate everything. It's amazing what people manage to fit in a two car garage. In Boston they used to refer to storage units as second attics, because they were becoming known for that too. Maybe put a few more miles on the car. It's a really nice looking vehicle. Obviously you take meticulous care of her just like all your other rides and it shows. Well, I see another road trip in your future. You know what they say: happy wife, happy life. Have a nice day my friend!
@@themogul5846 the solution is a larger house. I try not to bring up the subject of moving with my father but it is inevitable. I'm in discussions with my wife about where to go. Philippines is on the list but it's almost impossible to do now with the virus. We get a $7,000 exemption for our stuff. So all the kitchen and my tools are at the top of the list. Furniture we get there. This is a 3 year plan. So if you're still watching in 2024 then you'll see the move.
@@mcy2phil Ya, I don't think your father will be too pleased to know his son is leaving the Rio Grande Valley. He probably feels content just knowing your here. Now whatever you ultimately decide be sure to weigh the pros and cons. The Philippines is beautiful and obviously it's your wife's native country, but it does have quite a few problems too like any nation does. It's funny cause they all seem to want to come here to the States. Remember that you will face language barriers, experience typhoons and Americans are not allowed to own property or at least that used to be the case in the past. I imagine the traffic must be a nightmare too, but of course there are many great things too. You have quite a lot to think about moving forward.
My question is does the charger display a “charged” or “complete” when finished? I just charged a battery till it reads 12.7 (obviously charged) but i never got a display that says its done charging. Also not sure if this has an automatic stop when fully charged to prevent over charge. Anyone else know?
The display reading should say FULL. When it reaches FULL it's suppose to switch to maintenance as the status display. The codes and digital readout definitions are in the book. Like I said in the video you should copy and laminate it to keep with the charger. One of my complaints is the display is hard to see in bright light. If you don't have the manual you can get it online.

Have you ever noticed that harbor freight instructions are just good enough to make you hurt yourself?
Everything is made in China and the instructions too. That's why it's so bad.
