It's ok but it doesn't have vintage cards which is a huge downside.
The ex, diamond pearl, and heartgold soulsilver eras were my favorite as a kid and I miss opening them so much. I appreciate at least being able to see unweighed packs being opened

The Fossil and Team Rocket Era we're my favorite to open. Of course I get excited when I open any Era pokemon pack lol
The theming in each set is unreal, they actually did a whole different artstyle for heartgold across the ENTIRE SET BLOCK and had various background lore and locational themes like with dragon frontiers and crystal guardians! Truly peak pokemon imo (though the popularity wasnt in favor initially, its striking back strongly)

Picked up one of each of the V-union boxes at my lgs today. Nothing crazy pull wise (a full art beauty and a full art galarian rapidash) but the v-union promos are very cool, love that they have texture to them.

My favourite era and openings are these with the booster packs between after-WotC and before B&W timeline. :) They have some of the greatest artwork ever and I loved the complexity of cards from ex & DPPt eras. Always a must watch and some fresh content. It's not always about the WotC nostalgia.

Primes are so unbelievably underrated. They're finally getting some of the recognition that they deserve; and the price reflects it... but the pop reports + overall rarity and the prices they're at now just don't match at all.
They're underrated cause in a way they're like BREAK cards

Secret wonders is my favorite set, ever. The Charizard, Blastoise & Venusaur holographic cards are AMAZING!!! I opened so much of this set back in 2007!
