The Department will then contact your ex-partner of your withdrawal and will require them to comment how this will affect their visa application. That means that she could already be in Australia, working illegally in a massage joint or similar type of establishment, which may have been the plan all along. She gets social security payments & an interim visa for as long as the humanitarian visa takes to process- 3 to 5 years. The cops put old John on a restraining order he can't do anything about. She goes into a women's shelter, gets legal aid to turn your horrible lies & abuse (you promised her you would marry her & get her a partner visa, then bashed her when she complained about your true intentions). She gets social security payments & an interim visa for as long as the humanitarian visa takes to process- 3 to 5 years. A side product is you are now a banned sponsor, so even if you end up finding someone really authentic you won't be able to sponsor.
