Any chance do you know how to reset the climate control for 2016 ranger? I’ve replaced the resistor and I took the motor out and connected it to the battery with a positive and negative and it was working fine I read in the manual if you take the battery out it’s possible to reset some electrical features! any help is appreciated
The vid was very helpfull, thos issie just happened to me earlier today on my brothers wildtrack this help me to get it up and going again before the end of the day just have a question The issue onnmine is not exactly like the unit on the vid where it was a damaged fuse, ours where fine and the relays where fine to tested it by switching the relays of the starter relay with the blower, and the blower was still nit going through the main vents though on the little vents on the upper dash there was cold air And than i put it on "max A/C" suddenly the air came rushing through as if somethi g was clogging up the pathways So I have a question base on what i've told is this a case of a loose co tact vetween the relay or fuse or something clogged the path way if that's a thing hehehe Cause one thing i did notice before when a turn the A/C it displayed "HI" on the monitor than when I turned the thermostat down its started blowing cold air only on the small vents on the dash After a fiddle with the fusebox just like what you did when the air finally came back it did it again on the screen but it said "Low" this time as if it had a reset of some sort, you inputs on this is much appricated 😍

Mine doesn’t blow air and there is no power going to the blower motor and the blower motor resistor. What could be causing this?
Various issues , first check the fuse but hard to say without looking after that
I have the same issue on my ranger but the fuse is fine would it be the resistor?
Yeah could be the resister or the motor

@@diydaly thank you bro appreciate it!
so this video conclusion is the fuse at the back was burned?
Yes mate 👍
Is the bt50 the same?
No mate , it would of been on the earlier ranger but this later model is specific to the fords

So I have a question base on what i've told is this a case of a loose co tact vetween the relay or fuse or something clogged the path way if that's a thing hehehe
Cause one thing i did notice before when a turn the A/C it displayed "HI" on the monitor than when I turned the thermostat down its started blowing cold air only on the small vents on the dash
After a fiddle with the fusebox just like what you did when the air finally came back it did it again on the screen but it said "Low" this time as if it had a reset of some sort, you inputs on this is much appricated 😍
