If Pink came from White's rejected emotions, where did Yellow and Blue come from? They're clearly not rejected emotions. White still feels anger (💛💙), (slight) caring (💙), and superiority (💛). And even then, where did White come from? So many questions, so little time! Rebecca really did a good job with Steven Universe. I hope my w.i.p. show/comic will be as complicated and mysterious as SU and SUF 😊

Okay I LOVE this theory of Pink just being White's negative parts. It explains why she's so powerful, as it's concentrated into such a small being, and why she's so childish while the other diamonds seem more adult.
Plus it makes sense as to why White is off colour. If she removed everything she thought was flawed, there may be part of pink that she still enjoyed or admired.
Something I just thought of, what if the series ends with the diamonds saving Steven by fuzing? I know this is unrelated and kinda dumb to think about, but think about what happened in change your mind. The crew needed Steven to fuze with the rest of the gems. This makes sense, because if that was the conclusion of the main story, then what more character development could happen after? What if it's the same here. We all would like to see a diamond fusion, but there's no good reason for that to happen, unless pink diamond was in danger. If Steven gets corrupted, maybe they will fuze with him to get him out of it or something? It's a long shot, because as we've seen with jasper gems get corrupted if they fuze with another corrupted gem. But maybe the diamonds are different. Obviously, pink is the least powerful, and maybe the collective of the rest of the diamonds will be strong enough to push the corruption out of Steven. And maybe white diamond reabsorbs some of those flaws, and melts down after. I don't know, it's a long shot but I think it could be plausible

Steven also trapped Cactus Steven in a confined space when he started stepping out of line (Escapism). Which led to Cactus Steven acting out and becoming violent (Volleyball). Then there’s the line “You’re just learning from the only role model you have, me!”, the most common Pink Diamond defence. The Cactus also managed to hurt everyone it came in contact with, entirely by accident. Cactus Steven eventually left his home, with nothing but a single pale rose and a massive mess in his wake. I see you, Sugar.

If White Diamond made all of the other Diamonds from her personality. What if Yellow and Blue worked, because White Diamond faced them as she made them, but with Pink Diamond she didn't want to face the side of herself that got angry easily, that hid how she felt. So Pink Diamond leaving some of it still inside White Diamond. She didn't know until Staven came to her. Than she saw it. When she blushed. She found out it was still inside of her Dun dun dunnnnnnn!!!!!! Idk just a idea it most likely is 100% wrong lol

I hope that some of these theory’s are true. The story is so interesting because of these theory’s!
I can probably see people asking how a piece of White's personality could be literally given to Pink since they're technological, not magic, but that's exactly why it works. She needed a place to put what she viewed as her worst emotions, and as we've seen with things like the Rejuvinator, a Gems personality can be perfectly reset, so why couldn't you transfer your personality to someone like you transfer things such as software and stuff. Pink's whole existence was to be White's anchor, her emotions, which she probably transferred to her just before her creation, since making a Diamond would probably be such a delicate process in terms of emotions so they'd have something like what Pearls have with altering their defining personality. I like to think that each of the other Diamond's is just another anchor, Yellow was made as an anchor for her anger and rage as well as brite force, so white basically made her a military Diamond. Blue was made to anchor her sadness and guilt, and probably had Yellow train her to handle those emotions for the sake of their colonies as Yellow seems to be able to keep her emotions in check if she focuses while Blue just cant get a handle on it. Pink was made to handle her goofiness, happiness, her curiosity, and other things such as a possible tendency to rebel against her creators she might've had, which is why she acted so casual when she finally met Steven for the 1st time, because she figured earlier on that this would've happened at some point, that something would've caused her to rebel and later on create something new such as Steven. The other Diamond's are not just leaders, they're anchors, made to suppress and control White's wayward emotions so they could all be better leaders. Obviously Pink wasn't much of a leader with the anchor for emotions that she was, even Blue might've used her misery to possibly trick the opposing sides making her colonies very important as well, but laughter and curiosity? Those are not great qualities for a leader, which is why she was smaller and didn't have a colony for a very very long time, because she didn't have the proper colonies of a true leader. It's also why White favored her, because she knew she couldn't really stop Pink's antics given the type of anchor she was and why she seemed to humor her, because of the type of anchor Pink was. When White realized this as Pink Steven appeared, she broke, and the small remaining fragments of her remaining personality traits grew at a tremendous rate, she showed embarrassment and was flustered, she showed anger and was frustrated, she was immature and refused to accept the truth, in that moment the anchors she created didn't matter as her remaining emotions already turned into even bigger anchors tied directly to her, which is why she wanted to go to Steven to understand, because she didn't want to suffer without knowing how to handle her own anchoring emotions
