Have you tried smartwing Blinds. I have 10 installed in my house. Can't beat the price and fabric choices, They work great and look fantastic.. And I did have to mortgage my house to afford them
It certainly depends on your home and what you can manage. If you have a big home, or massive windows, it adds up fast if you do them all at once. In my home, things are split up a bit. So I've been able to do one or two windows at a time. We just opted to do the baby room since the little one is showing up soon and we are renovating our basement so we had our budget set out for it. The other option is when you're building a house and you roll that cost into the rest of the construction.
Good channel, good episode. I’m planning to purchase Lutrons for 2 or 3 windows in my home. I’m an average-to-good DIY’er, but wavering between a self-install or calling in the pros (added cost). Do you have an install video in your library for your shades? Thanks!
Haha! I love that! It may seem like a small thing to open them but it is annoying and after a while, I stopped doing it. With automated shades, they just open and close automatically every day so we have so much more light in the home!

As much as I want them, the price is crazy especially if your house as lots of larger windows. I'd be looking at $600 USD PER window

That’s some nice advice, thanks!😀

At my house, it’s my job to open the shades in the morning and close them in the evening. I’m definitely wanting to automate this.

Nice information
The link to the shades doesn’t seem to work. I’m in Canada, so that might be the problem. Just an FYI
Checked with the Serena team and they said: “The Serena Shades Canada site can be found at this link! www.serenashades.ca”
@@AppleInsider Thanks!
One window (46x46) $800 nah I’ll buy 80 smart bulbs and create my own sun.
What are the cheapest Homekit blinds?
A tad more expensive than I though it should be. What’s up Apple insider. 👋👋
