Just a bit of call out for ppl looking at the smart hub that isnt called out. Y lutronor most videos posted… If you can get the Bridge Pro 2 smart bridge… neither lutron nor reviewers explain there is a difference. The bridge pro 2 allows automation systems to also integrate with lutron for a better single application experience
Compared to all the other types of blinds/shades I have tried, Lutron's is very quiet. Throughout the video I left the audio of them opening and closing without adjusting anything. The blinds do have a very short motor noise but it never disturbed my sleep then they were in our bedroom. Sadly they can't be retrofit.
I have not seen this option from Serena. That would be really cool because I have been wanting to add blackout in the bedroom. I think you might just need to add two and have one in front with the facia and then have the blackout in the back with a standard roll.
The roller shade bracket is 1 1/4" deep so that is all you would need to mount it inside mount. Anything less and it would be best to mount on top of the frame. Lutron does say at least 3/4" if you don't mind the fascia extending, or 3 1/2" so it doesn't protrude.
What further questions do you have of the Serena by Lutron shade options? What style is your favorite?
I'd like to see something added like the Sleepy Time Track gap blocker with the blackouts to make a totally black room
We love our Serena roller shades, it’s cool that you were able to test each style
Once I tried one I just had to collect them all.
@@TechWithBrett so you’re saying they’re like Pokémon?
Exactly.
This video really helped a lot. I'm reviewing shades and Lutron appears to be the best solution. Thanks for going over their products.
Any noise difference between the roller and the honeycomb styles? Thanks for making this
this video rocked - I got the roller shade for my large windows but for my smaller stair shades I am now considering those wooden ones.

How loud are the motors? I'm mainly interested in the wood blinds. Also, is it possible to retrofit the motor and valance to existing wood blinds?

Are there options with two blinds in one? i.e one translucent + one blackout in the same roller?

@@TechWithBrett There are many dual roller blinds that are not motorized. It would definitely be cool to have two in one motorized.
This things are so cool i wish i had one
how much is a 6X 10 feet
How deep does your window well have to be for inside mounting ?

how many videos did you make on lutron products man?
Just a few... I want to make sure everyone knows about the best option available.
as many as he gets paid for
👍
Holy cow! Why are these so expensive?!😊
Because the average consumer is stupid and sees price = quality
Ok
Agreed.
