This is sad. The people of Chicago have been voting for decades for the people who have turned the city into a sewer.
This is so, so much bigger than that, unfortunately. Even if you switch to a "lock em all up," prosecutor/mayor or whatever you just end up with the same issue. Too many people fed into this system. We already have the largest single site jail in the country. It's sad, going to take a long time to unravel.
@TheChicagoJunkie You're correct and incorrect. Conservative cities typically have a much lower murder rate than democrat cities. However, you're right that the "lock em" method doesn't work as it should. That's because we let them out again and again.
