This episode is just hilarious. A real showcase for Dick Van Dyke's comedic genius. He can play against anyone, as shown with all the characters in this episode, and it always comes out funny.
I'm just starting to watch there again the past few weeks on this channel. PRICELESS. I forgot how FUNNY and WELL written and especially how well acted this show was. EVERY character was hysterical.
Loved the cousin, she did not care how Rob looked she just wanted her friends and family there. Plus she was not jealous of Laura's beauty and picked her for Matron of honor. She was good wife material.
I worked with Bobby (Wendell)..in SF a wonderful theatre group...he was just a darling guy...we had a fun scene together(he was also on MY LITTLE MARGIE..and in the file GIANT)...I really liked him...just a great guy
DUUUUHHH!!! It was nothing but a comedy...you know, to make people LAUGH, something you seem incapable of doing? Just be quiet and keep your unwanted, unsolicited "advice" to yourself.
Freddie Bartholomew was once ne of the most in demand and highest paid actors in film. He successfully moved to behind the scenes production as an adult before retiring in the 1980s due to emphysema (presumably due to smoking).
Never will be another physical comedy actor that is as good as Dick Van Dyke.

The character actors in this series are impressive, too.
I've NEVER seen any of these episodes! Each one brilliantly conceived and performed. Wow!
I've seen them all throughout my life, and they still are Wow!
LOL Rob could watch the whole thing on his phone today.
No one thought of that in 1966.
"He doesn't want to watch the fights he wants to watch a fashion show - he's no Seal, I think he's an Odd Fellow."
I hate to see him cutting off the NFL superbowl by saying he has to watch the Alan Brady version of Heidi.

I'm laughing til the tears are coming...!
Love the hat, looks like a lampshade.
Sugar Henderson was a real talent.
He could just put St. Bartholomew's into his GPS. no problem.
haha
@@deborahdishington735 GPS wouldn't exist for 30 years!
@@williameggleton414I believe that was the joke
Originally telecast on January 12, 1966.
That's funny how Rob and then Laura broke the TV set.

I like Laura’s dress!
Sweet episode!😁
The drunk character “ Lou” at the bar passed out played in many Three Stooges shorts…Tiny Brauer
Old TV technology.
Good episode besides Laura's whiny dramatic bit.
"i think his a odd fella"
I know what that means.
Interesting they put rhat in the show
Not sure what you mean, but pretty sure this is referencing the fraternal organization Odd Fellows as opposed to the fictional Seals in the episode.
QUIT INTERRUPTING!!!
Yet again with all the lying and deceit.
You lecture somebody else about this being a comedy, but you don't seem to be able to understand that yourself.
why don't you watch REAL lying and deceit like 300 million dollar con man Joel Osteen.
Thanks, no one asked for your opinions
