I always love watching everything you do no matter if it’s junking with your mom, crafting something, changing decor on the town house or doing up the beach house. You always give me joy. A hint for taking yard waste to the sort is to lay a tarp in the bed of the truck. Then you can pull the tarp out and shake off the debris.

Make rosemary salt. Food process the leaves and add course sea salt. Lay on a parchment sheet to dry and enjoy. Make whatever ratio you prefer, excellent on steak!

I had a sweet beagle who never met a skunk he did not want to pester, and he never learned. Early one morning just before I had to go to work, he got it! Luckily, he was day cared just down the hill from me and they groomed as well. (We lived in a big house on a peninsula overlooking Boston Harbor.) I was able to drop him off early and kept the window in the car open on a very cold morning all the way to work. When I got to work, I taught high school literature, my students walked in quizzically noticing the pungent odor. I had to admit what happened to my dog. All day I heard one class letting the next class know that, "Vinnie got skunked." Took a bit to air out my car. Loved seeing how far your cabin has come from those early days! Ever try making herb butter? Just grind up the herbs to release the oils and incorporate well into butter. The longer it sits in the fridge, the better it tastes. Excellent on veggies!

You can take the needles off of the stem of the rosemary and chop to tiny pieces and mix within the dough. Delicious!

How blessed to have a home away from home at the beach, on the Oregon coast. Pete has been a sport, with all the renovations. I absolutely love the designs you have chosen. The deer 🦌 🦌 were so cute. And the cave was amazing. The bread flattened because it was on a tray, and it looks like you didn't let it rise enough. But if it was yummy, then it was A OK 👍

I've said it before but Oregon is so gorgeous and such good memories there every time you guys are out on the beach I can see my husband and I there and how much I miss those times and I hope at some point I'll be able to go to Oregon and be happy again being there right now I can't it's been 14 years since he's been gone and it feels like it was only yesterday but thank goodness I have those wonderful memories of all the times of being on the beach just gorgeous you're so lucky stay safe and happy thank you for showing us

My wife and I bought a river house on the Umpqua River in Reedsport, OR and I have enjoyed furnishing our vacation river house home with thrift find treasures and totally got hooked. It was funny that you mentioned a TH-camr that you watch that doesn't have your same design style. I started watching you to learn about things that weren't in my design wheelhouse. Awwwww honey enjoy that bid 'ole glass of wine, you deserve it. But I know what you mean by being overwhelmed with stuff. I tend to get overstimulated with too much clutter and it stresses me out. I've been donating to an amazing local place where people can get whatever they want for free. I just cleared out closets, decorator things and beauty stuff. The ladies were so excited!

Love the skunk story. You story embellishment ... reminds me of my friend who was a curb diver reseller flea marketer. He'd embellish a story about an object. After the people left his booth I'd look at him and roll my eyes and laugh. He passed away in 2008 and I miss him a lot. We use to have fun curb diving together. And I love driftwood. If I lived near the ocean I'd be a driftwood hoarder. Your cabin is looking great!
