    Why do americans make a big deal of moving out your parents. You move out when you have enough money to make a down payment on a house or if you have a great opportunity elsewhere after completing your education. It makes no sense to be paying rent elsewhere when you can sacrifice a few years while helping out your parents and also saving almost all your income.

    • @Rob--
      @Rob-- 3 ปีที่แล้ว +40

      These are generalizations.

If you go away to college or move away for work for a few years you see it, friends and others who were living with parents when you left still there and still doing the same half-assed job. I have known and heard of guys like you. Get along with their parents well and live a full life just have no good reason to take the expense of their own place. People forget that no debt without the ability to generated more money is debt if that continues!!! They need to ignore the money he saved and focus on how to make money!!! @@donaldlyons17 $14 an hour is nothing if you live in a hot area. Idk the cost of living where he is at, but I am sure all his money will go to tax and rent if he moves out. However, yes, if he continues to earn more money he will have less problems. Dave's advice to stay home, graduate, get better job, and move out after is the best plan. He will have more money saved, a better paying job, and less stress with school out of the way. It is only a year or so.

    24 years old. We are called “gen z” moved from LA to Las Vegas I was 19, got married and bought our house when we were 21, worked horrible jobs as a body technician for all those years, my hobby was always riding dirt bikes and atvs and now I do my hobby for a living as an atv tour guide.
