    Thank you for this video, thank you for sharing this with us. After over 50 procedures on my spine including 58 screws, 6 rods and 7 level fusion (3 times) of mid thoracic it feel so amazing to be able to do these poses and heal my spine naturally. Completely changed my life over the last decade and now your videos are helping me heal my body, mind and spirit from all the surgeries. All hardware was removed June 2018 and now I am finally able to move my spine and have been re-growing all the bones. muscles and ligaments to repair the damage caused by western "medicine". Kundalini and other yogic exercises as well as a plant based diet, synthetic free lifestyle and plant medicine has helped transform my life. Going from being bed ridden for 5 years and able to do minor things the other 5 years I can honestly say my body feels amazing now. Being able to move, walk, hike, travel, LIVE is an incredible experience that was out of reach since 2010. Now everyday it's an honor to start my mornings with affirmations, and yoga with you. Thank you so much and please continue posting. You are truly changing lives. Be well, I Love you ALL.

    Hello Karissa, my name is April, I want to tell you that I really loved this video, It's the first Kundalini class I have ever experienced. Thank you!
    I recently got introduced to the word Kundalini in January of this year by a new friend I met during my yoga teaching training. I am slowly learning what it is and the more I learn the more words continue to get introduced to me. it feels transformative to begin learning about Kundalini. It's a beautiful practice which I find I have naturally been doing since I had my daughter.
    Not quite the same of course, I really had no idea what kundalini was at the time, but I have always used breath and movement in meditation to help me feel good.
    I had my daughter in November 2015, the first year as a mom I was healing from a lot of physical and mental trauma. I found breathing, postures, stretching, movement, and vocal expression in my mediation helped heal me and bring me back into my body again. Pregnancy and motherhood transformed my body.
    Learning ancient wisdom about movements and breathing, and mindful intentions is helping me elevate my own understanding of my own body and spirit. In curiosity I began to research Kundalini, exploring workshops and teachers, and asking questions when I can. Everything I learn I put into practice, and I benefit so much.
    I began practicing yoga when I was 17 after my cousin gave me a yoga dvd, because I was suffering with depression, after facing personal trauma. Yoga has always been a healing practice for me, and I am constantly learning. I am almost 26 now and I've been a yoga teacher for almost 4 months. recently I was given the opportunity to teach in my community, at the community center, for a mental wellness initiative, funded by a resident action grant. I had my very first class last week Tuesday. Many of the students were not mobile and suffering from mental wellness trauma because of low income and food insecurity. I want to offer tools for healing , and I am very thankful I have people like you that share this knowledge on youtube. I can be in my own home with my daughter, practicing yoga all day!
    Do you have any advice or tools you can share with me that you think, I should share with my community? Or maybe you would be interested in making a video on a few exercises for people in a wheelchair, or are not able to sit in seated on the floor. A video on healing after or even during trauma. I want to be as inclusive as I can.
    Thank you so much for your light and love and time.
    x/o-April

      Ms April, with all due respect to you, and with no disrespect to Ms Karissa on her teachings in this video, and after reading your long but readable comment, please let me comment: this yoga should be called just bhajan yoga, which has nothing to do with KY. The only source of KY knowledge is right there on all those geometry chakra symbols, and nowhere else, nowhere. Geometry means reasoned logic. If you would take the deciphering route, you will clearly find that no one, really no one, knows anything ab KY that would go in accordance with Mr. Kundalini’s motion-rhythm technique. The point is that there’s no research to be done as there’s no literature out there, whatsoever. I’ve figured out all those instructions and now know that the KY body-motion rhythm may permit the experience of the absence of gravity.

    Wonderful! Thank you Karissa! On about my third time through this, on the V-arms when you said "even though your mind may be filled with illusions, this moment of clarity is the truth of your existence", I had such a heart opening that I was moved to tears, and my wife said she thought she lost me! Very beautiful kriya!

    I felt a urge to rotate my hands during this and went with it , I felt a resestiance between my hands of a feeling of repelling each other like a positive and negative charge..after I thought what I was doing looked like was on was off..then I rotated it and shaped it in my hands then was expanding it out ward by pulling my hands apart then contracting it together and could without a doubt feel it that went on for 2mins then I lost it...thanks you pacha Mama..your a awesome soul..and keep dancing graciously ☮

    Yesterday, I tried this video (and kundalini) for the first time. I cried my eyes out and I feel much better today (I have been sick). I am breathing more freely and I just completed your morning kundalini video. I just love it. The breath of fire is very challenging for me right now, but I know it will come with practice. I hope you plan to put more videos up. You voice is very soothing and encouraging and your demonstration is clear and the setting is appealing. I am deep grateful to have come across your posts. Thank you.

    • @catherineshaw1122
      @catherineshaw1122 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A fun way to practice breath of fire is to extend your tongue and pant like a happy puppy. Feel your stomach pumping as you do it, expanding on the inhale, pushing in on the exhale. Once that feels comfortable and easy, which might take a few sessions, begin with the puppy pant and then simply close the mouth and continue through the nose. It's the exhalation push that is accented, and the inhale takes care of itself. Believe it or not, it becomes like second nature eventually and can be done on its own for great benefits.

    Karissa Thank you so so so so so much - I've just found you and you're giving me so much help with this video in working with the kundalini that has already awakened in 2012 and turn my life into a mixture of divine bliss and total kaos and through a depression-darkness period I think of as a feeling a psycical death while still beeing alive (if that makes any sence it's hard to explane in english - but that's what it felt like loosing the spiritual connection I've more or less have had as long as I can rembember), but for the first time I'm able to conciencely work with the energy through yoga, and this video really helps.
    Namaste - In the deepest sence of the word!
