I just got my MLM two days ago . I’ve been hitting into a net and numbers seem low but I’m still learning how to use it . I took it out on the course to test numbers off the tee and the rapsodo was showing 20 yards less in total difference. Again still learning so I’m not disappointed at this point . My phone did get too hot once which is concerning.
@@videorangers3962 I haven't yet, I'm going to check it out when i'm back in town tho. I think if you're going to grind you can't go wrong with the extras.
I have an MLM and it appears from the video that you may not have lined the MLM up precisely to the spot from which you are hitting, which may affect launch angle and distance numbers. If I am missing something, my apologies. Either way thanks for sharing.
It wasn't expressly mentioned, but I'm assuming the MLM measures backspin only, correct? So it won't calculate spin axis right? If so, then dispersion stats from indoor sessions would reflect only launch direction and any draw/hook or fade/slice shape cannot be captured.
We’ve tested the MLM at an outdoor range (video on the channel) and the performance was quite good. You won’t get spin numbers with range balls but the carry distance, etc is quite good. It’s a good overall budget option.
What does the subscription do besides give Rapsodo monthly income? I buy a monitor and it works. What am I continuing to pay them for? I will be using GSPro, none of their included software. Is every company a scam today? Should be illegal.
I think they don’t have it because it’s treating all spin as centered backspin. If you look at his shots at 4:20, 6:10, and 4:20, they all appears to have some kind of side spin based upon the tracer. However the Rapsodo shot only follows the initial path before the shots turn
Wait till you swing over 115mph the rapsodo has no idea .. it over estimates by a country mile, it’s a waste of money .. battery is crap and over heats the pro is better but they just don’t even come close to gc3 and higher level LMs

Mine was getting hot as well, so far I've been fine just moving my bag to cast shade over it lol so far
@@drvngrange good idea I’ll try that . Have you done the premium subscription at all ? Just curious if it’s worth it .

Update - I decided to return it . I think it’s a cool device and the future looks bright for these but don’t think it’s quite ready yet .

Fellas will the Calaway RPT's measure well with the first MLM. Or does a regular ball with the Raspsodo Ball Dot's work as well.

which budget launch monitor do you recommend for using at an outdoor range?

is it a free update to get the beta version that you have in the testing?
Do you need the upgraded subscription to get the club speed reading for speed training?
Yes, the speed training option requires the Premium Membership which costs $99.99 per year for the Rapsodo MLM.

Is there launch monitor to take to the range that won't break the bank?
This one and it is only $299.99
GOLFCITY10 doesnt work for rapsodo?
No spin axis? That's the most important measure for me
Apple only? Or do they work with Android also?
The original MLM (the one in this video) works for Apple only but the new MLM2PRO works with both Apple and Android devices.
@@Golficity awesome thanks!
When will the rct/spin option be available to the general public ?
@golfcity do you know ? Or is it in beta with no real release date.
Can’t find anything online about release date. Says it’s compatible online but still says coming soon in my app.
Its now live. Just update through app
Shot tracer on the Mlm?
Tracer seems to be an outdoors only option so you could take it to the range and get that.

You can buy 20 rapsodos for the price of a GC3, comparing the two is silly.
Gotta say, the rapsodo app is REALLY REALLY BAD
