For real though lol. I feel like videl should cap out as being as strong as cell and not be able to progress anymore since she is 100% human. I know the other humans are able to progress but not in raw strength compared to that of a mastered ssj form.

I think the main catalyst for Gohan's willing for training would be that he and his dad are too similar and Goku's willingness to train and get stronger just rubbed off on Gohan's mentality, even if it wouldn't be to the same degree.
The whole reason gohan doesnt like fighting is because of when he was taken hostage by raditz and saw his dad beaten into the ground listening to him in pain trying to save him, the other reason is because when humans and saiyans mix their genetics the instinct to fight is more supressed than a full blooded saiyan
My single biggest complaint with all of Dragonball Super is: why did future Trunks leave to another new timeline. If he couldn't stay in his own anyway then why wouldn't he stay in the main timeline where he has friends and his mother and father are alive? They could have added a prefix or suffix onto his name to differentiate him from his younger self who would then effectively be more of a younger brother.

Gohan stacking Ultimate form with any other form means using that form's power in Base Form, without strain or stamina loss. It's so broken, that if Gohan wasn't nerfed, he'd wreck the whole franchise!
Except the old kai said that there's no point in Gohan going SSJ after mastering ultimate form. So, it doesn't make sense that he would stack ultimate with other forms.
Gohan shouldn’t be able to stack his form He should just get stronger and when he learns god ki control he would either just use god ki cuz his ultimate form would be considered regular ki or let’s say he gets as strong as super saiyan blue He would be able to access that strength while basically being in max power base form (ultimate/mystic form) which means no stamina or ki control draw backs.. he would still be stronger than goku because as his base strength increases his max potential would increase as well.

People never really train with saiyans in Super, so it could be entirely possible. And in Dragon Ball, it's like if your in the presence of a strong warrior when training you get a massive power boost. Not impossible in the actual canon, just kind of unlikely that Toriyama would take that route. :/
This was awesome. The fact that not only is gohan growing increasingly strong but also including different scenarios like adding future trunks into the ToP, videl training and becoming much stronger, and a bit of a change to the Zamasu arc. This deserves a like in my book.
I feel like Zamasu should've had more respect for mortals when gohan went with beerus and whis because gohan is more educated and formal and respectable unlike goku so it would've been cool if Zamasu turned over a new leaf and actually attend the tournament of power and watch with Gowasu

Okay okay, let’s just end this argument once and for all going over everything about the video for Videl. She started training with Gohan after the Buu saga, so she’s trained for around 5 years. Maybe 6 years if she ever used the hyperbolic time chamber. Within a year Gohan learned Super Saiyan and mastered it, but since Videl has less potential cut her potential in half, give or take she gets to barely below super saiyan level strength. Although, she has Gohan teaching her, who is a lot stronger than the others who taught him so maybe super saiyan level (non-mastered) After training with a very powerful Gohan for another 4 years who also kept getting stronger during those years, is it really hard to believe she reached Cell level power? There’s all these arguments that Krillin is so strong because he learned under different teachers and such, but Gohan is sooooo much stronger that Krillin’s previous teachers, so that shouldn’t matter. By the tournament of power arc since Goku isn’t actually trying in Super Saiyan Blue, let’s say Krillin’s at about Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan 3 level... That’s still way stronger then cell. So if anything, there could’ve been a chance that Videl could be even stronger.
Another thing, Master Roshi only really ever taught fighting technique, the kamehameha, and some harsh training to Krillin. Gohan could teach all of that to Videl. Kami sorta taught Krillin about flight, more training, and maybe more technique, again stuff Gohan could teach to Videl. Same stuff with Korin. So really, the different teacher don't make that much of a difference.

I feel the need to point out one important thing about the Gokhan fusion. The "Rival Boost" referred to in the main story isn't a numerical stat to be raised and lowered. What the kais were referring to was the sheer willpower in each of these two to be better than the other. A burning drive that would translate into an incredible willpower in the final form. Since Ki is a derivative aspect of the mind and body and being in your true self, a strong will and a strong body from the fusion makes for incredibly potent ki. There is no "Family boost" to offset the "Rival Boost", though I do believe that they'd be stronger simply because they know and trust each other more. They're comfortable in their own skin around each other and hold nothing back, much like Vegeta and Goku do, though without the animosity of the latter. Gokhan would be a much more stable fusion in terms of ki potential and physical hardiness because both Goku and Gohan are physically very strong, and they know and trust each other, and they LIKE each other.

Probably not, Broly was a saiyan prodigy whose power was only obtained by a saiyan ever 1000 years, I feel like zamasu wouldn’t have that extreme potentially even though black did. It also seems like a divine being had different stages of super saiyan than the main cannon. So zamasu probably wouldn’t have given zamasu a power boost much bigger than base blacks, if not lower.
Gohan's pursuit of knowledge wasn't his choice. Throughout the series, chichi was the reason he went so hard on studying. He's never been shown enjoying being studious, he merely did it because his mother made him do it
Just because a parental figure encourages you to do something doesn't mean they don't enjoy it or do it of their own volition. See Goku, who made Gohan fight because of his potential, but only saw results when Gohan felt an obligation to do so. Besides, if Gohan TRULY didn't want this in any respect, then he wouldn't dedicate so much time to studying, research, and school of his own volition, without his mother's influence. I do think this what if makes more sense canonically, due to gohan having more of a catalyst to train AFTER his fight with buu then after cell because gohan realized that he is earths protecter since dad is gone and he can’t afford to blow off his responsibility again after what happened in the world tournament arc that led to fat buu’s hatching in the first place.
While this is a very interesting video overall, I feel the absolute max videl could reach is maybe semi perfect cell, since even tien who trained his entire life was struggling with that cell. Videl being Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta level is crazy, let alone Ultimate Gohan, regardless of who she trains with.
Tien in the tournament of power could kill cell with a damn sneeze, anyone participating in the ToP can at least keep up with super buu from Z. That's just how dragon ball's power creep works.

Gohan stacking Ultimate form with any other form means using that form's power in Base Form, without strain or stamina loss. It's so broken, that if Gohan wasn't nerfed, he'd wreck the whole franchise!
Except the old kai said that there's no point in Gohan going SSJ after mastering ultimate form. So, it doesn't make sense that he would stack ultimate with other forms.

People never really train with saiyans in Super, so it could be entirely possible. And in Dragon Ball, it's like if your in the presence of a strong warrior when training you get a massive power boost. Not impossible in the actual canon, just kind of unlikely that Toriyama would take that route. :/

Okay okay, let’s just end this argument once and for all going over everything about the video for Videl. She started training with Gohan after the Buu saga, so she’s trained for around 5 years. Maybe 6 years if she ever used the hyperbolic time chamber. Within a year Gohan learned Super Saiyan and mastered it, but since Videl has less potential cut her potential in half, give or take she gets to barely below super saiyan level strength. Although, she has Gohan teaching her, who is a lot stronger than the others who taught him so maybe super saiyan level (non-mastered) After training with a very powerful Gohan for another 4 years who also kept getting stronger during those years, is it really hard to believe she reached Cell level power? There’s all these arguments that Krillin is so strong because he learned under different teachers and such, but Gohan is sooooo much stronger that Krillin’s previous teachers, so that shouldn’t matter. By the tournament of power arc since Goku isn’t actually trying in Super Saiyan Blue, let’s say Krillin’s at about Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan 3 level... That’s still way stronger then cell. So if anything, there could’ve been a chance that Videl could be even stronger.
Another thing, Master Roshi only really ever taught fighting technique, the kamehameha, and some harsh training to Krillin. Gohan could teach all of that to Videl. Kami sorta taught Krillin about flight, more training, and maybe more technique, again stuff Gohan could teach to Videl. Same stuff with Korin. So really, the different teacher don't make that much of a difference.

I feel the need to point out one important thing about the Gokhan fusion.
The "Rival Boost" referred to in the main story isn't a numerical stat to be raised and lowered. What the kais were referring to was the sheer willpower in each of these two to be better than the other. A burning drive that would translate into an incredible willpower in the final form. Since Ki is a derivative aspect of the mind and body and being in your true self, a strong will and a strong body from the fusion makes for incredibly potent ki.
There is no "Family boost" to offset the "Rival Boost", though I do believe that they'd be stronger simply because they know and trust each other more. They're comfortable in their own skin around each other and hold nothing back, much like Vegeta and Goku do, though without the animosity of the latter. Gokhan would be a much more stable fusion in terms of ki potential and physical hardiness because both Goku and Gohan are physically very strong, and they know and trust each other, and they LIKE each other.

Just because a parental figure encourages you to do something doesn't mean they don't enjoy it or do it of their own volition. See Goku, who made Gohan fight because of his potential, but only saw results when Gohan felt an obligation to do so. Besides, if Gohan TRULY didn't want this in any respect, then he wouldn't dedicate so much time to studying, research, and school of his own volition, without his mother's influence.

I do think this what if makes more sense canonically, due to gohan having more of a catalyst to train AFTER his fight with buu then after cell because gohan realized that he is earths protecter since dad is gone and he can’t afford to blow off his responsibility again after what happened in the world tournament arc that led to fat buu’s hatching in the first place.
While this is a very interesting video overall, I feel the absolute max videl could reach is maybe semi perfect cell, since even tien who trained his entire life was struggling with that cell. Videl being Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta level is crazy, let alone Ultimate Gohan, regardless of who she trains with.
Tien in the tournament of power could kill cell with a damn sneeze, anyone participating in the ToP can at least keep up with super buu from Z. That's just how dragon ball's power creep works.

1:03:31 given that you've already established that in this scenario Zamasu was much weaker in Gohan's body than Gohan was only obtaining the power to rival him after his initial encounter it is completely nonsensical to say he was able to defeat goku *and* vegeta in base form immediately after acquiring it. It would be like if Ginyu stole Gokus body and was instantly able to kill Freeza.
