Looks good for a rattle can job. I've painted my previous cars with rattle cans. I've painted my 97 gtp with a gun (candy red) turned out bumpy-orange peel. I absolutely LOVE PAINTING cars, parts etc.
I LOVE painting with spray cans. I painted my 03 Chevy Monte carlo Black with Duplicolor Clear effects (can) by far my favorite paint job. It's on my Instagram page @junkgtp
Dude, this thing is sick af! I just bought a 2300 and am looking to do the same kind of build. I'm gonna rattle can for sure but there's no way it will look clean as yours lol. Love the channel guys. Keep it up!
loving the truck I am not a fender flare person myself unless you color match them to make it look like it was originally created that way but keep up the great work. You guys are humble looks like a cool crew to hang with. can't wait to see the next vid.
You know what? At first I didn't think I'd like it... but once the truck was sprayed, I fell in love with it. It's Krylon pistachio - in satin. Walmart use to sell it, but now I had a hard time finding it. I wanted to do a touch up recently. Searched everywhere and found it at a True-Value store.
Question for you...... I have a 1986 dodge ram 50 (mitsubishi mighty max) picked up some wheels, 15x8.5 and 15x10. Should I use the with the staggered size or get the same size for front and rear?
These wheels were picked up off ebay. They're Bart Racing wheels. 15x10. 😎 The stickers will be posted on our website by this weekend. Beardedpandafab.com
They're a 15x10 Bart steel wheel on 195/45 Proxy tires. You have to find a tire shop that's willing to stretch them. It's a huge stretch. I believe the install at the tire shop is on the first truck video that's on my channel.
We actually used Krylon Colormaster. Prepping: prep the body as far as dents and rust. Primer (this one already had 2 coats of primer on it when purchased). We used an orbital sander starting with a 220 grit. Wipe down with paint prep. Painting: getting a super smooth, non-streak finish... takes some painting skills. Basically try your best to lay each pass of paint slightly on top of each other to reduce over spray and streak marks. If done properly, there will be no need for wet sanding nor clear coat. We like to use a satin finish. It's easier to lay, gives a really nice finish, and has the flat effect without the dry look, and reduces streaks
Lol. I can understand that. We show him paint at 5:20 but the main reason is that we show how to rattle can large body pieces when Gabe painted his civic front bumper. We explain techniques, paints, and best methods to go with.
Bearded Panda Fab I’m not trying to be I’m not. Trying to be a an ass I’m just wondering why you didn’t show the whole procedure or at least a good chunk of it I’ll check out the other videos I’m only asking because I’m trying to spray can my van
@@unseenhero7498 Good point. I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next spray paint video. We paint often. Using satin paint is the best route to go. The likelihood of getting spray lines is reduced. If you want to have a clear finish, it's better to spray clear over a flat or satin. Let me know if you have any questions that I can try to help with
@@BeardedPandaProductions right now just trying to put some new shoes to change the look of the truck. Recently painted the front grill ,mirrors, and plastic things on the window gloss black. It changed the look 😎👍
We didn't have any over spray lines. As long as you lay it wet and run 50% over lay stream, it'll turn out smooth. After it dries you can wipe it with a rag and soap and water or prep sol if needed in areas. We just used soap and water.

Thank you man. 😁 There's more to come very soon for this b2200. Super stoked
Should have installed 4x4 fenders and bed before painting.
Muy bonita camioneta 👍
Good job, keep up the truck vids!
I'll be recording more on the truck this coming up week 👍🏻
Dang that looks sick
Thanks broski. We should be putting out a video soon on the full breakdown and how much we've spent up to this point.

How many cans of spray paint did you guys use? I got an ext cab in about to paint.
That one took a total of 7. Since it was a light color, it needed 3 coats

I would keep the staggered size. I'm a firm believer in staggered. Do you know what the offsets are?
@@BeardedPandaProductions thank you for you reply. On the 15x8.5 the lip is about 3.5 inches and the 15x10 lip is about 5 inches
Where u got your rims
You can pick some up at Summit Racing or eBay.
Buen proyecto
what grade of sand paper did u use for the taking off of the paint
We used a 220 grit on the rotary sander to smoothen out the primer. We didn't remove any paint.
We got a hold of it with all the bodywork and primer already on it. 220 will smoothen it out as well as removing paint without putting any swirls.
Wow i got the same truck where can i oder the wheels for that same truck and where can i buy the 🐼 stickers?

You think those rims will look good on a Isuzu hombre 1996 ?
I think so. They're similar in design. Do it hombre!!.
You have 666 subscribers 😨 😇. Good job!

I may have missed it, but what are the tire/rim size yall running? 195/50/15?

They're a 15x10 Bart steel wheel on 195/45 Proxy tires. Found them on eBay.
We have these with v6's in South africa
That would be so cool if they came in V6's here
What size are those and tired
They're 15x10 -38.10 back spacing with Toyo Proxies 195/45. Just need to find a tire shop that's willing to stretch them.
How many cans used
If I remember correctly, it was 7 to 10 cans. Some were the tall ones, some were standard sized cans.
Nice mini truck bro what side are your wheels
They're 15x10 on a 195/45 tire.
Okay thanks bro
How many inches is it lowered?
It has a 3" drop block on the rear and torsion bars cranked all the way down in the front with a reverse lower control arm plate.

Whaf rims do you have in the truck
They're 15x10 Bart Wheels. With a 4" back spacing.
Where can I get the rear bumper for my 1997 B4000?
That's a tough one man. They're hard to come by these days. Best bet is a junk yard
