- In this video I do a ball joint flip on my 1990 Mazda b2200, Then I raise my suspension back up a tiny bit to get more suspension travel.
I didn't mention it in the video but this thing is a lifesaver on this job

195/50/15’s! I had same truck. An 89. Good trucks
Loving this series! Keep up the good work bro 🤙
appreciate it! ive got more coming very soon
Great video, clear, concise and well shot!
Thank you! thats part of why i started this channel because sometimes when i watched car videos people werent clear enough for me to fully know what was happening, so i figured id make my own videos
cool video bro, i just went ahead and loosened my torsion bars all the way🤣 i still got some of the bolt in but oh well
It's possible your torsion bar is getting worn out, that's why it's "stiffer" on one side vs the other one. I had to replace my driver side one due to this. Something to keep in mind bud specially if you notice the driver side to start sagging or not holding up even after adjusting the bolt
yeah thats what my guess was, eventually i plan on going to 4wd torsion bars to get a bit extra stiffness so im not too worried about it right now
i loveee GOING LOWER ❤
on you
this is harrassment
@@Blue_B2200 thought you were into that….
Back again, but did you leave, take out or cut your main bump stops? The big triangular one? I'm in the process of doing a front drop and just wanted to know which way to go?!
my rears i cut about an inch off and theyre perfect height for me to still be able to carry heavy loads, my fronts are still completely there because of how soft the front suspension is

I noticed you didn't use a spacer plate on your lower ball joint. Why not?
good question, theres a couple reasons, first is for me i just didnt want the extra suspension travel that it would give me (my tires hit my fenders a lot already), second is that when you space only the lower ball joint you run into the issue of it changing your suspension geometry as it makes the distance between the lower control arm and upper control arm larger which could cause issues with handling due to changing the suspension arc (it may not necessarily be enough to but I'd rather be safe than sorry)
@@Blue_B2200 I'm about to do the same thing except that I was a little skeptical on the plate!?
To have, or not to have was the question?
Thanks a lot 👍👍
What kind of wheels are those?
eagle alloy 054, havent been made since the early 2000s from what i can find
What are those wheels my dads had the same ones I’m tryna source them for a memorial build???
eagle alloy 054 are mine, other companies sold the same/similar design such as the american racing gambler, enkei ek24, and centerline champ 500
Neither of the ball joints lined up for me with the flip, giant waste of time
lol try again
never heard of that happening to anyone, something must have gone wrong in the process if this was the case
So basically all you did was jack the truck up, your dad all the work not you 😂
yes totally because i obviously am incapable of working on cars as you can tell from this 10 minute long video that came from hours of footage 👍
