    Bro, thank you so much. This is a great video. You said what you were doing and why you were doing it. And then you showed how to do it. Concise and to the point. There are so many videos where the guy rambles on for 45 minutes about shit not even related to the work. New sub here. Thanks man.

      Thank you! thats part of why i started this channel because sometimes when i watched car videos people werent clear enough for me to fully know what was happening, so i figured id make my own videos

    It's possible your torsion bar is getting worn out, that's why it's "stiffer" on one side vs the other one. I had to replace my driver side one due to this. Something to keep in mind bud specially if you notice the driver side to start sagging or not holding up even after adjusting the bolt

      yeah thats what my guess was, eventually i plan on going to 4wd torsion bars to get a bit extra stiffness so im not too worried about it right now

    Back again, but did you leave, take out or cut your main bump stops? The big triangular one? I'm in the process of doing a front drop and just wanted to know which way to go?!

    • @Blue_B2200
      @Blue_B2200  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      my rears i cut about an inch off and theyre perfect height for me to still be able to carry heavy loads, my fronts are still completely there because of how soft the front suspension is

    I noticed you didn't use a spacer plate on your lower ball joint. Why not?

    • @Blue_B2200
      @Blue_B2200  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      good question, theres a couple reasons, first is for me i just didnt want the extra suspension travel that it would give me (my tires hit my fenders a lot already), second is that when you space only the lower ball joint you run into the issue of it changing your suspension geometry as it makes the distance between the lower control arm and upper control arm larger which could cause issues with handling due to changing the suspension arc (it may not necessarily be enough to but I'd rather be safe than sorry)

      @@Blue_B2200 I'm about to do the same thing except that I was a little skeptical on the plate!?
      To have, or not to have was the question?
      Thanks a lot 👍👍

    Is it half an inch lower with both ball joints flipped? I flipped the top and bottom and it seems to have give me a full inch and a half lower but I do have DJM 3inch lowered control arms maybe that’s why. I have 4 inch blocks in the back and want to match the front with the same amount of lowered as the back

      yes its half an inch lower with both flipped, though the only one that matters for ride height is the lower ball joint and the amount of lowering is determined by the thickness of the lower arm. since youre running djm lower arms there is a possibility they use thicker metal on the ball joint mount and as such you would get more lowering. flipping the upper ball joint is only done to retain correct suspension geometry

      eagle alloy 054 are mine, other companies sold the same/similar design such as the american racing gambler, enkei ek24, and centerline champ 500

      yes totally because i obviously am incapable of working on cars as you can tell from this 10 minute long video that came from hours of footage 👍
