- Steve Burton has departed 'Days of Our Lives' again. On the 'Daily Drama' TH-cam page, the 53-year-old actor revealed that he has exited the soap opera once again. Amid his professional change, Steve is also making headlines for some personal news. In May 2022, the soap star revealed on Instagram that he was separated from his wife, Sheree Gustin, claiming, 'She recently announced that she’s expecting her fourth child. The child is not mine.' Two months later, Steve filed for divorce from the fitness coach.

The Alzheimer's storyline was particularly impactful. It was a truly emotional depiction of the struggles faced by many of us with loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer's/Dementia. You and Maurice gave phenomenal performances. You have a special gift. God has blessed you with the ability to touch souls through your acting. The same goes for Maurice. If this impact his acting career especially why he's taking a break from Days, then it's his choice that we should all respect instead of speculating or assuming what ever is going on in his personal life.
