You ain't never lied about that heavy feeling! I had a brace given to me by the cardiac unit which made my surgeon very unhappy, but oh did it help! I slept on my couch for 3 weeks because I'm a stomach sleeper, and getting out of bed was a mess! Clear liquids went down well for me too, and still do. Switch to premier protein. 30g for 11oz. You need to get oikos greek which has 15g of protein per container. You're NOT getting hunger pains! Your stomach digests differently. It will make random noises. Up your protein in the things you're allowed to eat!! NO SOLID FOOD IN WEEK ONE! 30 mins is long enough, I promise, but you actually stuffed yourself full. Your stomach is the exact size of what you ate! On top of that, your stomach wasn't strong enough yet to break that down.
Your weight in the first month will be DRAMATIC. I think I lost 30lbs in month one, 25 in month 2, and then it slowed down. I'm 7 months post op and I've lost 105lbs. I think you'd do very well if you found a support group. They can help with meal suggestions and they can answer questions from a perspective the doctor can't unless s/he actually had the surgery.
