The 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 is not only easier on the environment, but also punches well above its weight thanks to a ton of features comparable to higher displacement bikes. All for a price of just Rs 2.40 lakh -- Rs 12,000 more than the BS4 model. This makes the BS6 Apache RR 310 one of the best value-for-money propositions in the two-wheeler market.
It features a ride-by-wire throttle which electronically controls throttle valve actuation without having the need for any mechanical linkage. The system offers precise control over the air/fuel mixture, which, in turn, provides more performance and better fuel-efficiency.
The inclusion of RBW throttle opened up various opportunities for TVS Motors. In this case, enabling the brand to incorporate four riding modes (Rain, Urban, Sport, Track) with two separate power maps. These modes also affect ABS sensitivity and intrusion. The TVS Apache RTR BS6 is the least expensive motorcycle in the Indian market to come equipped with a 5-inch full-colour TFT instrument console.

This baby can easily fit a 600 cc engine. With these features and a 600cc engine with an HP range from 60-80, I believe TVS can win the market in that segment.
And an inline 4 engine would be very sweet

I rode the older version of this from Dapoli to Pune just before the Pandemic hit and damn what a weapon this is. I own a himalayan and the cruising speeds are always 80-90kph. But this bike reminded me of the golden old days of Lavasa. This bike loves to be revved. I cannot remember putting this bike beyond 5th gear ever.The ride through Mulshi ghat was downright epic. this bike is a weapon which can cruise unlike RC390. If someone can buy a used one, get it right away.
Brother can we go for Himalayan or this bike?

But hey look at Ninja zx6r, cbr 600rr, cbr650r, daytona, yamaha r6 they are also 600cc class motorcycle and most of them are purchased by people all over the globe and tvs being indian manufacturer can introduce with low cost variants lets say around 6-7 lakhs. And I am was suggesting this because I own RR310.

I have been riding the 2019 310rr have not been bugged by any vibe it’s not as annoying as you tell it to be .... been doing up and down from Pune to Mumbai nearly 3 times a month since last june 2019 without any issues amazing work by TVS and an amazing bike

Unlike Ruman who says it takes 7000rpm for Gixxer to settle at 80 while it takes 8000rpm for 1604v. Also don't know how they test mileage

@@avinashtiwariate3104 hey, the bike is amazing! But, the fuel consumption is a bit on the higher level particularly when I’m speeding in “track” mode. So my average mileage comes out to be 28km/L 🥲. But, other than this, I personally haven’t felt any other problem. I’ve been riding this from the past 7 months, feels great ;)

I own this very bike. The Headlamps are so good that you will always be the guy in the front during the group rides for max visiblity for others :D

for the 12k increase in price they've done justice in giving features. the tires are the major update to me followed by the ride by wire throttle and the updated speedo console. i rode rc 390 and for me it was too much aggressive but given the chance to choose rr310 or rc 390,I'll go with rr310. Also ktm service is a nightmare at my place,horrible to say 😅😂.

Sir I would like to ask one question.. the official Specs of RR 310 Bs6 shows the max payload of this bike which is around 130-140 kgs?? Does this affects a lot???

Change rear seat a bit.... Little straight than slanted and bit more long and more cushion then it becomes an all-rounder... Touring and track riding... Feature wise awesome though...

Imagine if KTM was not launch in India we will not get different types of bikes from different companies, because in reality KTM set the standard by introducing new model almost every year (not every year), almost every year, so KTM set the competition high, that's why we get different types of model from various companies, all thanks to KTM
For highway tour i would prefer something with wide handlebar not crouched position.
But for shot burst of adrenaline supersport is the choice.keeping that in mind i would choose the wildest supersport available now in India.KTM RC 390.

Both has their ups and downs
So take a test drive and decide it for yourself
I will give you some ups and downs of each bike for your reference
Tvs rr310 has better hardware in all fronts
It has the better looks
Its cheaper
Has riding modes with a tft dash that looks stunning
Until a speed of 120 to 130, you would not be feeling any difference between these two bikes
Tvs has more showrooms although very few service centers are actually able to service the rr310 as of now
Ninja is all about its twin cylinder engine
It brings great amount of top end whack and refinement
Outdated hardware and looks
Expensive to maintain and service centers are extremely limited
Ground clearance is also a little low with the ninja
It is a do it all motorcycle
Its is very reliable as well
Both are absolutely good for touring, track riding and even city riding. If you really don't want the top end whack of a twin you can opt for rr310, you wouldn't be missing out on much.

Only problem is you can't service it at regular TVS showroom. Even retail from a premium showroom can only be justified if their are more bikes in the lineup.
This bikes has good features more than some big bikes Indian are doing good I hope if they get in higher level they will do more
