60000 is a lot of money , which can be saved upon 310rr , and I recently got my gixxer 250 SF yes its not as fast as these bikes but considerably batter at touring , less vibe then both bikes here

Nobody understood why i did it.Yes domi is more powerful but at the end of the day, for a tourer like me, engine refinement, maintenance and fuel efficiency plays a major part in owning a motorcycle. Suzuki is phenomenal when it comes to handling and refinement. So yeah, I’d anyday pick gixxer over Apache, dominar or even G310rr (🤪).

Rc 390 is considerably more powerful, has more torque, more tech and better riding ergo. For 60k you will be getting a way better motorcycle than rr 310.
Looks like they dont want stop marketing RC and ignore to agree RR is practically better and vfm! City rides, mileage, comfort and neck to neck performance plus attractive price for RR, what more do you need.
They're doing PR work for RC . In reality people won't just buy a bike coz a channel told it is the ONE.. I think in practical terms the RR310 is much more better than RC. Its not like there is a peak to bottom difference between those two..still buyers of RR310 are more than RC 390..
Completely agree with you. Bought the latest RR310 this year in February and have clocked over 10000 kms as of now. Just love the way bike is designed, the features and especially its capability for long touring. I always wanted to tour but also wanted a sports bike, and RR310 is the best combination out there in this class.
Everything should be judged according to you? Everything thing should be practical? Then start a campaign to ban ducatis and Lamborghinis, cause they are not practical, so they should not win a comparo with your wagon R.
I will opt for RR310. It's a all rounder bike. Decent power beautiful looks and features plus the ground clearance is also great. Yeah vibration is still there on the bike and it needs a bit more refinement otherwise it's a great bike. Even I also like ktm but don't know why RR is a good option for me. Rc390 no doubt power is great it's more refined thn the RR.
The performance stats which you showed wasn't that much different for each bike but still you guys made it sound as if RC390 blew RR 310 out of the water.
@@gtsishere actually the opposite, in real world it doesn't matter much. I have my fair share of group rides with RCs and RRs; for keeping up the power difference isn't an issue. But the RC does feels so fast compared to RR.

i agree on this. I own RR310 and my friend owns the new RC390. Riding both in same conditions I got to know that RC has better suspensions. RR310 suspensions are on a stiffer side.
Man that guy with the spets i think he is obbessesive towards ktm.. yeah ktm is a great bike but mostly it is for sports ...racing etc. Still the company needs to concentrate on tyres , and more practical features which can be helpful for city rides ...I feel like this is biased review ... me and my friend went to ladakh.. he , with his rr310 and mine dominar 400 ..well I would say riding position is a bit better on rr310 than my dominar ... I felt the bike is under control both of them but rr310 is more better and stable than dominar which is just vibrating most of the time when we cruise at high speeds ..I felt rr310 was a bit better in terms of grip and the stability while cornering ..overall it was good experience than my dominar ..
I like zigwheels a lot, this channel feels a lot more genuine than others out there. But I think there is a dire need to improve the presentation part now. It seems repetitive and lacks content. I know right! I was just going to comment this lol. The RC 390 is a great bike but are we seriously going to call it a step up to the buttery smooth, parallel twin beast of a legend that is the Ninja 300. (I have my biases as a Ninja 300 owner but still this is a bit too much)
I think wrt to the handling and agility he's right. You gotta test ride one, I ride an R३ which feels like a ship compared to a train on rails a RC is. Also, I found the KTM engines more enjoyable than the yamaha or kawa twins
Ninja 300 has basic features compared to RC 390. Non adjustable suspension, no usd forks, same dated instrument cluster. Plus the maintenance and service cost are more expensive for what they offer. The only good thing about Ninja 300 is the parallel engine. It's power delivery is way linear compared to KTN RC 390.
@Chethan and yet KTMs are mad machine and much more fun that the Kawasaki 300. KTM were never after refinement and top speed in first place. Besides 160-170 kmph top speed is enough for a 300cc bikes. Second Ninja 300 might go with top speed but its power delivery is quite linear compared to RC. And to go with single and twin. Here's the thing KTM 790 Duke's can easily smoke Kawasaki Z600 even tho both are twin cylinder engines. You see KTM are meant to be fast and agile. KTM 390 have better features and electronics compared to Kawasaki Ninja 300 which is outdated and doesn't even a USD forks and other things at that price point.

Welk both the KTM RC390 and TVS Apache RR310 are great choice in thier segment. Both bikes looks good and modern although the Apache looks beautiful where the RC looks handsome but more functional. The engine performance are impressive but its the RC thats good. Equipments and features wise both bikes has decent offering, however each bikes Misses on something, though the TVS offer's slightly better kit . overall these bikes are impressive and its hard to choose between these 2 awesome machine. Next Time please compare this 2 with the Kawasaki ninja 300 as well.

RC is better than RR as proportional to the additional money required for that. But I still prefer RR as a pocket friendly sports tourer/commuter... And RC is never a step up from ninja 300 or even RR 310, as they all come to almost same category comparing other half litter plus bikes.
Not a fan of thumpers, if I wanted a sporty bike I'd go with the continental gt and with the mods available for that thing, it would keep a rider busy for a very long time. I'd prefer the RR310 over RC for its price. And then there isn't any good sports bike till the Ninja 400. There is a huge gap left in ₹3l-5l range Yamaha R3 and Ninja 300 would be great sellers but they aren't there. RC 390 is good for what it is but it's still a low revving thumper and for the same price you can get a smooth parallel twin from a desi brand. It's not apples to apples comparison but buying bikes can be difficult. I wanted to buy Xpulse 200 4V, ended up booking G310GS, then test rode an Interceptor which won my heart over and bought that. Maybe someone has their heart set on the RC, which is a good bike, but to me it doesn't make sense, at its price.
For the price RC comes at, it is justified dude. Ninja 300 which is outdated now with same design and less features, costs more than RC, also service costs and spares cost of the RC is lower than that of Ninja. Comparing GT650 twins with RC doesn't make sense, so it depends on the person. For under 4 lakhs, there are many great bikes, let there be Duke 390/Adv 390 or others

Let me tell you. I own the RR310 and I use it for touring. I get a mileage of 30-33 kmpl in city while riding decently and a mileage of 35-38 kmpl on highway riding between 70 to 120 kmph.
Better mileage Better suspension setup Better tft display Way Better tires Way Better looks. Way more rider friendly. Way more of a head turner Much more value for money And still so much scope for improvement And INDIAN MADE. Biggest flaw of apache....less horses Biggest flaw of ktm..........ugly looks.
It's fun to see Apache fan boys and ktm haters crawl out of the woodwork in the comments section. It shows that ktm has beaten the rr in its own game. Anyway, the rc390 is now a great bike. But i think it is not a great RC. It's a great sports tourer, but not the best sports bike. The new rc390 has cemented the position of the raccoon eyed RC as the best sportsbike we had the pleasure of having on our Indian roads.
Same can be said about ktm fanbois pal. 60k is significant amount of money. Apache rr310 at its price is more vfm. Surely the rc 390 is more refined, apex predator even I like it. But yes that does come at a price. Not saying the pricing of ktm isn't right but it's for someone who has that much money if one doesn't then rr310 surely is the go to option. This is why you see people more inclined towards the apache. Also one thing is the looks and apache scores more than the rc I though like design elements of both of them. One thing i think personally is the tachy orange looks too tachy a black or even the current blue scheme with little orange will look very pleasing I know orange is their iconic color but still. Its my personal thought so yeah you may not agree with it.
@@manthenvashishth3769 VFM moniker makes sense if the spare parts are also cheap. Historically, ktm has always had cheaper spares. Over a 4 year or so ownership, that 60k cost difference will fizzle down to very negligible amounts. The only objective thing going for the rr is now that it is cheaper upfront. But then it always was. Coz it has less performance and less componentry (except the suspension which is a major miss by ktm). You know why KTM was successful with its 390? It was VFM AND it outperformed everyone in the class by a mile. Also, the word you want is tacky. Tachy is associated with measurement of rate of something, like speed of rotation in tachometer or high heart rate in tachycardia. P.s. if not apparent by my first comment, i don't like the new rc as much. It's a compromise. It is not as sharp on its nose as the old one was. The rr310 i never liked coz it was a compromised bike. Looking like a sportsbike, behaving like a tourer. The rc was true to its purpose. Now, the rc has evolved into that generic zone of N300. It was born as an antithesis to the ninja 300. Sharp, aggressive and menacing to the docile ninja. As they say, you either die a hero........

And truly said it serves it purpose it's really a very good bike I once drove it and felt it was truly a drivers friend but I think in comparison with apache the extra 80cc also makes the difference I know it ain't much, but all I am saying is that apache's engine despite being short of what 80cc gives good performance and who knows with launch of the new rc I think tvs with its new rr310 may give it some more beans. With the less price I think apache isn't a bad bike and it's a good choice. But yeah if one likes to have a performance oriented fun to drive daily driver and all rounder surely the new rc is go to. I even like the duke 250 for that cuz it is also an amazing all rounder and when you need some fun it's still a ktm. In comparison to ninja 300 i do really think that this rc will have an upper hand. The n300 have a extra cyclinder so that may be beneficial but yeah the ninja isn't cheaper to run.
Lol still after giving all the unnecessary upgrades to the new RC 390 has the same performance as the older 390, in fact the older ones outperform the new one. Don't believe right, check it by yourself and talk. 🤦 All they did is gave it some refinement by taking away the stress on the engine and increased the tank capacity. Other than that for touring, you don't require adjustable suspension and all the display gimmicks, because I have a 390 Duke and after 10k kms the display sh*t stopped working. It's unnecessary but for show off guys, yea it's definitely required!!!!. So it's unnecessary to be frank and they increased the pricing of this bike for all the unnecessary things they did. If you're gonna reach a track, you'll find the new one better but for everyday commuter, the old one is more than enough and that too for its pricing. P.S check the sales numbers for all the consecutive months for the 2022 RC, you'll understand my point which is "India requires a normal commuter and the old 390 did it well"

Let me tell you. I own the RR310 and I use it for touring. I get a mileage of 30-33 kmpl in city while riding decently and a mileage of 35-38 kmpl on highway riding between 70 to 120 kmph.

It's fun to see Apache fan boys and ktm haters crawl out of the woodwork in the comments section. It shows that ktm has beaten the rr in its own game. Anyway, the rc390 is now a great bike. But i think it is not a great RC. It's a great sports tourer, but not the best sports bike. The new rc390 has cemented the position of the raccoon eyed RC as the best sportsbike we had the pleasure of having on our Indian roads.
Same can be said about ktm fanbois pal. 60k is significant amount of money. Apache rr310 at its price is more vfm. Surely the rc 390 is more refined, apex predator even I like it. But yes that does come at a price. Not saying the pricing of ktm isn't right but it's for someone who has that much money if one doesn't then rr310 surely is the go to option. This is why you see people more inclined towards the apache. Also one thing is the looks and apache scores more than the rc I though like design elements of both of them. One thing i think personally is the tachy orange looks too tachy a black or even the current blue scheme with little orange will look very pleasing I know orange is their iconic color but still. Its my personal thought so yeah you may not agree with it.
@@manthenvashishth3769 VFM moniker makes sense if the spare parts are also cheap. Historically, ktm has always had cheaper spares. Over a 4 year or so ownership, that 60k cost difference will fizzle down to very negligible amounts. The only objective thing going for the rr is now that it is cheaper upfront. But then it always was. Coz it has less performance and less componentry (except the suspension which is a major miss by ktm). You know why KTM was successful with its 390? It was VFM AND it outperformed everyone in the class by a mile. Also, the word you want is tacky. Tachy is associated with measurement of rate of something, like speed of rotation in tachometer or high heart rate in tachycardia.
P.s. if not apparent by my first comment, i don't like the new rc as much. It's a compromise. It is not as sharp on its nose as the old one was. The rr310 i never liked coz it was a compromised bike. Looking like a sportsbike, behaving like a tourer. The rc was true to its purpose. Now, the rc has evolved into that generic zone of N300. It was born as an antithesis to the ninja 300. Sharp, aggressive and menacing to the docile ninja. As they say, you either die a hero........
@@MedicOnAMotorcycle with tacky thing my autocorrect messed up so yeah I am very sorry about that. I am not against the rc at all. I like it and if I have the money I will surely buy it. And truly said it serves it purpose it's really a very good bike I once drove it and felt it was truly a drivers friend but I think in comparison with apache the extra 80cc also makes the difference I know it ain't much, but all I am saying is that apache's engine despite being short of what 80cc gives good performance and who knows with launch of the new rc I think tvs with its new rr310 may give it some more beans. With the less price I think apache isn't a bad bike and it's a good choice. But yeah if one likes to have a performance oriented fun to drive daily driver and all rounder surely the new rc is go to. I even like the duke 250 for that cuz it is also an amazing all rounder and when you need some fun it's still a ktm. In comparison to ninja 300 i do really think that this rc will have an upper hand. The n300 have a extra cyclinder so that may be beneficial but yeah the ninja isn't cheaper to run.
Lol still after giving all the unnecessary upgrades to the new RC 390 has the same performance as the older 390, in fact the older ones outperform the new one.

All they did is gave it some refinement by taking away the stress on the engine and increased the tank capacity.
Other than that for touring, you don't require adjustable suspension and all the display gimmicks, because I have a 390 Duke and after 10k kms the display sh*t stopped working. It's unnecessary but for show off guys, yea it's definitely required!!!!.
So it's unnecessary to be frank and they increased the pricing of this bike for all the unnecessary things they did.
If you're gonna reach a track, you'll find the new one better but for everyday commuter, the old one is more than enough and that too for its pricing.
P.S check the sales numbers for all the consecutive months for the 2022 RC, you'll understand my point which is "India requires a normal commuter and the old 390 did it well"
