- After impressing on the race track, Sarge was keen to see how the new BS6 TVS Apache RR310 would do on the road. Can all the updates, most notably the Ride by wire technology, riding modes, stickier Michelin rubber and a slipper clutch, help it cement its place as the most all round package in this segment? I own a Apache RR 310 bs6 , everyone thinks that it's a 600cc bike, even cops misjudged it as a super bike. A 310cc bike is giving 32kmpl mileage , 0-60 at 2.34 seconds with superb handling quality . A fantastic machine from our home brand TVS. maybe we will be fortunate enough to witness more great bikes from TVS like their Apache series, a undisputed series. Hope all other Indian brands will emerge as the greatest beating other foreign brands.
But one thing I didn't like in my RR310 is the seat cover , it catches dust,dirt very easily and hard to clean them.
Avirup Dey How bad is the pillion seat bro?? And can it be considered for long distance touring? Like 600-800kms. These are the only things holding back many from buying this beauty
@@sinuslebastian6366 yes man, the pillion seat is not that much good compared to the rider's one. It's bit hard , small and nothing to hold on but if you're with your wife or girlfriend , then it's not a issue at all. Maybe the small seat will make them irritating but compared to the RC390 it's 15 times better in every aspect , RC is only ahead in power.

I asked Sarge in DM, which bike I should buy as I like Adventure Tourer. He actually replied me with suggestion. And I would have gone for it until I watched this video. And this was the turning point where I switched from adv to a fully sport bike i.e. this beautiful RR310 machine.
And believe me this machine is amazing.
Not a complete offroader but tackle bump and bad road very well.
4 rides modes are amazing but as Sarge said the sport mode and track mode where engine gives its 100% and I just love it.
Overall great machine to go for.
And Sarge, you are always an inspiration and true biker. I just love watching your videos and listening your reviews.

I just feel of TVS releases an update where the bottom half or 3/4th of the TFT display changes to something like Google maps, and the speedometer and gear number being on the top would be damn helpful. Would eliminate mobile holders

Thanks for the review. I heard the ride by wire is not working as expected for few or more users. The issue reported by user is that, on down shift the rpm drops too low that bike doesn't pull. Have you encountered such a scenario ?

Hi sarge what about the current gen ninja 300 its roughly around the same price range, has a bigger tank slipper clutch and 1 extra cylinder. If keeping the looks aside would it be a better choice?? @sarget sagar ps: awesome rivew, best part is the way you bring nature and technology together in one frame.

Wow this is such a great looking motorcycle. Love the resemblance to the circa 2011 daytona 675 projectors 👌 I really wish they would do a higher displacement version, priced around the 4L mark, delivering 60ish bhp. It would really hit the sweet spot.
The TVS dealership in my state have no understanding of customer care. I went to the showroom (back in Nov 2018) and the sales people were sitting and they didnt even come up to talk to me or get up. I had to introduce myself and i got a luke warm response. Plus, they didn't even allow me to sit on the RR310, forget a test ride. I left and went to a KTM showroom. They treated me with such care and attention. I bought a Duke 390 that day and vowed never to return to a TVS showroom again.
It's just your showroom. I guess it is a private managed dealership. When I went to TVS in my city to buy an Apache, they treated me extremely well and didn't hesitate to offer me a test ride as well.
@@gnaneswararaouttarkar7934 Definitely depends on the dealership. They have been calling it out on social media and they seem to have improved in the last 2 years (noticeable in their rising sale of the NTorq). Just saying it left a bad taste in my mouth having to deal with them. Many people will say the same.
Not saying I had a bad experience at tvs but the salesman was definitely unenthusiastic . Comparatively the ktm showroom guys are way better at their jobs and even allowed me a sneak peak at the still unlaunched duke 790.

They of course are great so is sarge but they lack the soothing approach sarge has.

I became a fan of this motorcycle from its launch itself. The First generation were getting loads of positive reviews except the vibrations. I was also happy about the amazing equipment and features it got in the BS6 update. I was looking to buy one. But many owners had reported issues with the BS6 version. For most of them the bike break down showing Engine Malfunction in the console. We can all adjust with the vibrations in the previous version and all.. But what will we do if the bike stop suddenly in the middle of the road. Some of the owners uploaded videos on these issues in TH-cam. This is actually pulling back the youngsters from buying one of this machine.
ECU update coming this week..Permanent fix to the issue.. [ Official ]
If it is fine after the update..im booking one 🙏

I really want to see Sarge on the BS6 Dominar 400. I need to see his updated reaction and what he thinks about the motorcycle. I think the last Dominar video of his dates way back in 2017-18, that's for the old Dominar without all the tiny tweeks. PLEASE SARGE!!

@@SagarSheldekarOfficial Thank you for replying Sarge! Honestly, Bajaj's service isn't the best in the market. They don't have the Dominar 400 available for test ride for their potential customers. I have been trying to get a hold of a test ride vehicle but they never seem to have it - any Bajaj dealership here in Gujarat.
I own cbr 250 and rr 310, not just looks n power rr 310 is better than cbr in smoothness
All good until you visit the TVS service center, Service centers alone is a very strong reason for not buying this bike. I have first gen model and TVS Service is totally crap! What can you expect from a "mistry" working on a XL100 !
They should hire qualified and trained mechanics for this bike separately. Training their "mistry" mentality workers won't do any good.
I know enough guys who opted out this bike based only on their poor service support!
As a Motorcyle, this is one of best faired street bike. (not for touring).
Hope they fix that soon
