A fence for the garden plot

My potatoes are ready to go in the ground. But neither me nor the bed are ready. And the storms are not helping. Ironically, I built a fence to give Pepper more freedom. The potatoes moved into the greenhouse, and I give you a tour of my first batch of seedlings.

I am typing with a splint, so I will keep it short. Pepper loves the fence. Except when I am on the other side of it, and he can't reach me. But he's accepted that there is no escape after getting tangled twice.
I noticed you hadn't commented and imagined you busy with your planting :) I am so happy my videos bring you joy!

@@RootsandCalluses Oh no, a splint?? What happened? I don’t expect a rely. I assume you may address it in a video. Hopefully you heal quickly. I’ll be thinking of you. I’ve been out of state visiting my daughter and granddaughter, finishing up Boy Scouts, high school, and helping my youngest with his new job, taking my oldest to her appointments, plus housework and gardening. It’s been busy to say the least.
Anyway, I hope your not in too much pain and that you heal quickly. I just realized you may have a splint on for your Ehlers-Danilos. Anyway, quick healing 🤞

@Julie-H I think you might be on the newsletter where I told the full story. Short version: I fell into a rain barrel because I was lazy. I am okay but very bruised and my pinkie joint is "loose" because I overextended my finger.

I am so excited to see the garden in a few weeks. I have a lot to get done in the next two weeks before we go hiking. Hopefully, it will continue to move along nicely. Thanks for being here!

I love seeing you in the garden with Pepper. It looks so peaceful, almost idyllic and remote, so far off from the world. Like the world has disappeared for ever. Glad the fence will allow Pepper to roam freely. What does his neck tab say?. I must say, it's such a shame you intend to leave the plot in a couple of years, when you've invested so much money and time into it. But I'm sure you have good reason to do so. When it comes to tomatoes, Sungold must be the sweetest, I think.

It can feel really peaceful, especially in the food forest but it can also feel very busy when one neighbor mows his lawn, another trims grass, and a third has a chain saw. But mostly, it is indeed quiet there.
