Yo, it's been a hot minute, but it's finally done. My newest build with two specific techniques that I wanted try: fluorescent panel line color and some beginner kit bashing! Enjoy the video! As always, thank you for your support! What's your favorite Witch from Mercury kit?
@@GiantRobolove great finally got my hands on MGSD freedom, and red rider i wanted for long still markers and paints are hard to ship at reasonable price but working on it. My community has grown so much and many follow u.
@@GiantRobolove can u find a way to make pharact and michailis permet score in joints more visible without floroscesnt paint like any trick or something to make them feel glowy without any extra light
That's a tough one. You're trying to find a material that emits light on its own. What about glow stickers maybe, or you know this material of foil trading cards? That could work.
Your videos have really high production quality! As someone new to the hobby, I am learning a lot watching how you build things! Keep up the great work!
Beautiful! Looks kinda like my build in Armored Core 6! Barbatos Rex has a flourescent green panel liner and Dspaie makes a fluorescent green acrylic pen, you should give those a try too
How is the game? I've been thinking about getting it. Yeah I know, I saw them on his channel. I've also seen some asian vendors which sell them. But it's always such a hassle to order stuff from overseas.
So cool! Love the process and end result, very entertaining to watch. It's no master grade, but you inspired me to get some 30MM kits and do a bit of customization there haha. Also that Tau army is looking really good! Thanks for the video!
30MM is so intruiging as they have such a huge potential for customization in themselves and also as parts for Gunpla. Someday I'd like to try my hands at kitbashing the both of them. If only the Tau army didn't consist of so many units lol. It will take ages for me to finish them. Thanks for watching :)
No it's all good, I understood it without translation. I had French for 4 years in highschool and apparently a little bit still stuck with me ;) so I was able to read it without problems.
This is an incredible video, I loved every moment of it. It's thoughtful, insightful, talented, mindful and the end result is fantastic. Thank you so much!
Honestly, the added wings also balances out the thighs being so thicc as well. Which is a nice bonus. Really looking amazing! And honestly if you'd like you could even attach some magnets to the backpack as well so you can interchange it with the wings whenever you feel like it. Giving it an "upgraded" version with the wings.
Good call with the backpack. Considering that I bought that Mirasoul Flight unit just so that I could have those open hands for the build haha. But yeah, makes perfect sense to make the backpack detachable with magnets as well. Thanks for watching :)
Gloss coat parts prior to panel lining, it helps the capillary action. Matte is actually a hindrance. If you want matte, wait till after you panel line and apply water slides.
I already loved the progress pics on Instagram and now seeing a whole Video about it. Is sooo nice. The while build is so sick! Especially the colours ✨
Dont think that I didnt see the recycling bin renamed to "Gundam Wing" P.s. the end result looks like a techy gundam unicorn, paired with the angelic wings, it feels like a fallen god or angel. Biblically accurate gundam
Haha that's great. You're the first one to mention it :D I'm sorry, I tried, but Wing is just not my cup of tea 😅 Fallen God/Angel is a nice description. I'm still looking for a proper name for this kit and your suggestion seems like a good fit.
Great job! Your custom kit reminds me of Zone of the Enders. I've just entered the hobby and I'm really inspired by so many cool things I can do in the future!
Haha yeah, you're not the first to say this tbh. And I have to admit, I have never played these games, but when I looked it up, it really does share some similiarities. Welcome to the hobby and I hope that you will have a great journey. Which was your first kit?
@@GiantRobolove my very first kit was HG Force Impulse. A gift from my Japanese friend back in 2005, I think. I always wanted to enter the hobby but didn't have much money or time. A couple of month ago I built Calibarn as my first kit with propper tools, and ordered Aerial right after. Now I'm waiting for 5 more kits from Witch from Mercury to arrive and also waiting until Gundam from Netflix will come out along with new kits.
I just bought the 100 scale aerial and I love it. Such a great design. I used a chrome marker on the backside of the transparent parts and it really makes those parts pop.
I was so tempted by the FM. People seem to like it a lot. But my next G-Witch kit has to be the Gundvölva. Somehow this one jumped to the top of my favorite G-Witch kits.
after painting hit it with some spray LACQUER, that will give you the glossy surface to panel line with. Also put a drop or two of dish soap or your choice of surfactant to break the surface tension of your marker panel line mixture. Afterwards you can go over it with a matte lacquer if you don't want the shine otherwise throw on another coat of gloss lacquer.
Thank you. Yeah, getting the right fluidity is a bit tricky. If you're in the US or in Asia, there are stores which sell premade fluorescent inks for panel lining. Haven't found a store in Europe, so I had to make my own.
The paint won't, but if you seal your kit with Top Coat it will most of the time. So to remedy that, use your nipper and cut into the peg holes. This way you can loosen the connections a bit.
you mean shorten the female pegs right. Unfortunately I was planning to paint my MS without disassembly using that kind of portable airbrush topping of with a topcoat also. So Im worrying of tightness issue.@@GiantRobolove
I meant cutting from the top into it, practically breaking the circle. Imagine this is the peg hole viewed from the top: O. So what you want is to take your nipper and just snap into it, so that the peg hole will look like this: C. Except there won't be such a big gap. I hope this depiction somehow helped 😅 If you on the other hand shorten the peg hole, you risk cutting it too short, so the peg won't fit anymore.

based on this colour scheme you might want to also check out the Necron faction in Warhammer as the colour scheme is quite similar!

I do like the sharp corners and the panel lines on that one . Ps I just started carving my own panel lines after watching your videos. Great tips.
Hey that's great. Did you do the panel lines on the FM kit or something else?
It was actually on calibarn

using flat color is fine. just apply a very thin layer of gloss clear before panel lining can avoid the color smearing.
Yes, thank you for the tip. This has been brought to a couple of times now and I will definitely keep that in mind for next time.
Adding flat or gloss coat before panel lining might help with clean up.
Yep, I learned that the hard way 😅 I'll stick to gloss coat before panel lining from now on.
Now you need a Lfrith in black and red with demon wings….tho I don’t know where you will find that lol
That doesn't sound too bad...let me think about it :D
The color seems familiar it is the color of anubis in zone of enders.
I have never played these games, but now that I checked it, yeah, it certainly has some resemblance.
@@GiantRobolove well a good coincidence my friend.

what do you use to extend the gunpla waist ? ty
Hey, please refer to 07:47. I'm showing the product I'm using in this scene.
Does your airbrush paint result cause the pegs to be tight?
