GREAT DAY TROLLING ... DELTA STRIPERS!

Fishing in the Calif. Delta in the summer for Striped Bass can diffecult. Did you know theres a 'Summer' run for Delta Striped Bass, that usually takes place in July ... yes July. Lots of fish still in the river & the bay, but when it come to our delta, the trick is to locate the fish. We had a great day trolling in the delta w/ some decent fish caughtw/ a few missed bites. Yozuri's 'P-Line' Angry Eye Shallow Divers seemed to the ticket, as you'll see in the video, Jon's lure was hot. Of course it was another windy day ... but the action was great. Another fun day on the Calif. Delta.

I lived in Sacramento for 13 years and I only fished the last couple of years but the striped bass is my favorite fish to catch still, I sure miss the fall and spring runs up the Sacramento River to the feather

I've been Dunk-in Bait ( Mackerel and Sardines ) in the central Delta for the past two weeks and have caught at least three each day !
