7:13 I’ll add another tip here. If you haven’t got anywhere to sleep nearby, or if you’re over encumbered somewhere far from a bed/shared chest, take the Safe Passage perk under the drinking skills and get blackout drunk (take the Beer Bibber perk to make wine twice stronger or Wine Bibber to make beer twice as strong and always carry some of that alcohol at all times - like wine if you take the Beer Bibber perk. Wine is cheap and a fairly common loot item). You’ll be transported to the nearest bed you own with all of your loot. Then just use a Hair o’ the Dog potion to clear your hangover.
@@stanettiels7367 good addition. Typically people use beer bibber and wine (which isn't a potion) to activate safe passage so it didn't quite identify in my brain as potion related but you're absolutely right, and people can be using moonshine for that purpose as well. I believe Lazarus and marigold will also clear hangover. So, definitely related. Thank you! 🍻
Glad I’m seeing kingdom come videos all over the place. This game never got the love it truly deserves. Super stoked for the second one. In all my playthroughs never dabbled in alchemy but this time I want to max everything and try to 100% so appreciate the tips!
It looks like Warhorse is going to get a lot of attention with this sequel. I'm very happy for them; they deserve the recognition. I appreciate you watching and wish you a very successful playthrough. Leveling alchemy is pretty great. Once you have a stock of potions, sleeping becomes very optional and you're never without nourishment.
@@21_Germ it'll be intimidating to start from a place of no knowledge whilst competing with big channels that'll be around for the first big wave at release, but I'm sure to love the game and I'll find a way to share that love with all of you. I'm glad you're here to be a part of it. Cheers 🍻
Thanks! I wanted to show some lesser-discussed things and avoid the stuff everyone knows. Have you finished the game? What's your favorite weapon type?
awesome video! this is my 5th playthrough and never seriously use Alchemy except whats needed to pass quests but this time im trying to use it more as i want to save as many people as possible from the plague
That's super cool! I think I was similar in that I largely ignored alchemy my first few playthroughs (and pickpocketing). It's a pretty fun mechanic, though. Good luck to you on your playthrough. May the people of Merhojed sing songs of your dedication to their safety!
That's really cool! It's quite fun to get into alchemy. I stopped sleeping and eating solid foods once I got stocked up. Potions like Bowman's Brew, bucks blood, and aqua vitalis give both nourishment and energy (with zero alcohol) so it's easy to do so. And a little extra tip for ya: If you care more about leveling alchemy than drinking, you don't have to grind any herbs like I do in the video. The XP is the same you just get less potions per brew. That'll save time getting to level 13 and unlocking Routine II.
I don't know if it was just on my playline or if it's a general thing, but that neat shelf in Brother Nico's office/room became private storage after completing Pestilence. I think it has to do with a line where he says Henry is free to use the office as needed to brew the remedies, that was probably supposed to trigger a script to make the shelf unowned to then reverse it at the end but they fumbled it and only the part that will mark your stuff as stolen ends up happening. Luckily, the sack behind the door next to the bookshelf is not affected by this. Now if only I can find appropriate storage next to every alchemy station on the map...
@@alentjanestetico3014 I have experienced it where the shelf is owned and counts as stealing. I don't explicitly remember what was different about that playthrough so I'm also not positive on the cause. There's definitely something near most of the benches but some will be owned and will mark your stuff eventually. I made the mistake early on of using a moonshine basket over by the samopesh one. I think it took a week but it did delete everything. Unfortunately, I think you'd have to settle for the stolen tag to stash near most of the herbalists. At the end of the day it's pretty easy to stick to pribyslavitz, sassau, and Rattay for any bulk brewing but before pribyslavitz is owned the North is less than ideal. I think there might be an unclaimed container around black lukesh's house for the Talmberg herbalist and maybe that interesting site has a container? I'll have to take a look.
@@alentjanestetico3014 I figured it out! Horses... Or rather, dead horses. They don't despawn and can be used as storage. As far as no stealing tag, you'd have to mostly collect the horses from bandit camps. There are a few other ways to find ones that aren't stealing as well. Then it's just a matter of riding them to your preferred locations and "thanking them for their service".
@@TrialBySquire With some horse meat to have later, as a treat! Some places might have other nests or treasure chests/graves somewhat nearby I suppose, and just now did I think of that hypothesis. Food and food pots as well. I am constantly finding new things in this game, it's crazy. So much depth. I just found a "magic ladder" a week ago, right next door to the mill. Years I have walked passed it not even realizing it was there let alone what it can do!
I'm starting a 2nd playthrough years after I beat it the first time. I have been trying to make Savior Schnaps and for some reason the still button is greyed out when I'm ready to finish the potion. Anyone had this problem before?
@@TrialBySquire I loaded up the game right quick and tried it. My potion failed because I rushed it, but yeah, I think you identified the problem. Thanks for the speedy response, and Christ be with you!
Sorry, but I lost it at how you pronounced Zbyshek. Shibyzhak, LMAO! Its Zbee shek, the first part is pronounced like you would pronounce 'bee', but with a z sound in the beginning, the second part is pronounced the same way as Shrek, only without the r.
Oof 🤦♂️ Apologies for my peasant tongue. I wasn't confident on the pronunciation and, unfortunately, it's said a few different ways in the game by different voice actors. I'll try to improve next time. Thank you for the feedback! 🙏
