I did some experimenting with the duration of holding the heat gun on the funnel part (top of bottle) while it is spinning in the lathe. I set my tool rest 4 inches away from the funnel bottle part. With my heat gun set on low I hold the heat gun on the tool rest for 8 seconds. This amount of heat shrinks the funnel bottle part adequately and makes a snug fit inside the cylinder bottle part.
The threads on this 1 Walmart 1 Liter Diet Tonic seem to be the same as is needed for a powder, or shot bottle. All you'd have to do is drill a 1-1/16 hole in the center of the bottom of the bottle. These bottles are kinda flimsy, so they wouldn't hold up for the shot bottle for sure. I'd look for a similar threaded bottle that is bit thicker, more stout. You can take your screw-on bottle cap, that comes with your MEC bottles to help find a better bottle with the right threads.
Very cleaver

Certainly clever. Don’t get me wrong I like what you did. However, not at all practical without a lathe. Cheers!
Sweet. I love it. I only have a mini lathe don’t think I can do it. Maybe?
fun vid. but iv'e always just used a regular funnel, never had any mess, works fine.
But this funnel you don't have to hold with one hand! It's a hands-free funnel!
Love the tunes
Hello, would you have the instructions for making a reloading bottle on a MEC 600 press?

You should make them and sell them
