Ted, that's all good but where is the safety wire??

    • @TedsGarage

I'm very happy that this bus has no safety wire! (so far). That was always my most hated part of wrenching on airplanes.
Benefits of working on a bus vs. airplanes I suppose.

Good day Ted. The poly bushings from Prevost or some one else? I'm surprised you did not lube the bushing or metal before install. Cheers

The bushings were from Prevost, I actually didn't realize they were sending polyurethane ones until they showed up, it's just the superseded part.
I considered lubing them, but wasn't concerned about it and no lube was included. Generally the primary reason to lube poly bushings is to prevent squeaking, especially prevalent in things like control arms with a lot of motion. Sway bar end links won't move as much, so I didn't worry about it.

On your tablet, I noticed that there are some digital gauges with an analog look. Did you program them yourself, or did they come pre-installed with the bus? The tablet is mounted at the end of the video using a suction cup.

That's a BlueFire for Motorhomes displayed on an iPad which plugs into the J1708 connector and connects via BlueTooth to the iPad. I've had a several requests for a review on this, I'll have to put together a video on it!

@@TedsGarage Yes, that would be great, and I wonder if it could work on my Monaco 2016 Freightliner chassis

@@sergevilleneuve1715 It should - it works with any J1708 or J1939 interface, you just have to purchase the right one accordingly. In a 2016 you should have a J1939.

You need to remove the swaybar so you can flex out the bus off-road XD
