Never get tired of this video- one of my absolute favorites! It’s nice to see the Moonshine Ridge Country Store again- my family was broken hearted when they closed. ❤
Love seeing these types of videos where you show how we can spend a day in an area and see the usually overlooked treasures. Please do more!?? You and Dawn are awesome and entertaining!!
I love the driving vlogs! Beautiful scenery! Will and Dawn on the foot bridge - 🤣! For those of us that LOVE the Smokies, and can’t get there too often, these Vlogs are a little slice of heaven.
Love the Shipshewana shoutout. We live about 35 min from there. I love when you guys make these kind of videos because it helps us plan our upcoming trip. Lots of great ideas. Thanks!
Well, that was a most enjoyable drive. I enjoyed it very much. My five year old grandson would absolutely love that train museum. He is totally obsessed with trains now. He has taken several of the old steam engine scenic tours in some of the southern states when he and his mommy go down to visit his grandmother down in southern Kentucky and the surrounding areas. When he goes down to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area next week they apparently have the old scenic tour arranged for that area. I appreciate the video … it was very enjoyable.
As Ive told yall many times before were always in Tennessee. The Smokeys NEVER gets old its always breath taking. first time we came there our cabin was HIGH in the mountains I had a anxiety attack lol seriously.. but soon as i seen the view I started crying.. couldn't control it cause its that beautiful to me. I watch Tennessee everyday on TH-cam, we will be back again (just came back a week ago) lol Thanks for these videos makes me feel like I am always there! (were from Ohio) by the way!
We have come to Tennessee since we were about 20, we are now about to be 63. The cavern you mention is the best we have seen.We are from Canada and the Great Smoky Mountains will always give you heart. Now that it is June 2020 we will not be able to be able to come to the area that has given the most tranquility and joy that the mountains and people have given us. Your tours take me home. Cannot be there, but can be there whit the videos. Thank You
What a vantastic video.Glad the chickens didn't peck dawn. Lol.Havent had a chocolate covered frozen banana in years. Now I want one.Thank you for taking us on your adventures.
Thanks for so much love on the little river railroad! Bachmann used there shay to build there G Scale model shay off of… little story of the shay locomotive it was designed in your home state of Michigan due to the lumber industry… then built in Lima Ohio… then some ended up in the smoky mountains!!! I’m building a g scale train layout in my yard now and it will eventually move down to the smoky mountains area!!
Fantastic video.! I love the train n lumber museum and of course the Foothills drive is beautiful! Folks should be aware that lots of places along this drive close for the winter season. We were there in early Dec and all along Weirs Valley Road, most were closed including the museum. Would enjoy more videos like this. I enjoyed the swinging bridge too. There is also a restored village just up the road which is well worth the stop.
My husband and I started going to the Smokies in 1972. Things have certainly changed a lot and not all for the better. I remember when Pigeon Forge was a few motels and had Gold Rush Junction where Dollywood is located now. Gatlinburg use to be so much fun, now it is mostly about alcohol so sad. Anyway y’all don’t want to hear about what it use to be cause it will never be that again. My husband passed away in Jan 11,2019 and my son is taking me back to the Smokies in a week for the first time in 21 years. Really looking forward to it. Thanks for your mini tours has given me lots of ideas. Keep the videos coming guys. May God Bless You Richly. Fellow Smokies lover from Alabama.
Wonderful trip, thanks so much for taking us along. When my husband and I were last there in 2005 Wears Valley was so beautiful. It has grown so much since then, too much it seems for me. We had looked at land in Wears Valley then,, glad we didn't fall for the land trap.
this brought back some early family memories of staying near Dillsboro in a cabin in a valley or holler like this. enjoying the videos in no apparent order
Thanks, Yellow Jeep tour!!!!!! We've watched a whole lot of your videos since this. And the dreaded C word has happened since then. We visited Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in August 2019. May go back last week in December. Don't know yet. Our world is about to change, so that might be our last chance to visit. God help and bless us all. Love you guys!!
The best 14 1/2 years of my life were spent with my love, Barbara, living in and exploring east TN. Hwy 321 through Wears Valley was a favorite motorcycle ride, along with the Foothills Parkway. Of course, we HAD to eat at Paw Paw's !!! Being a native of Lousyana required it !!
Love riding up front and in the middle 😂 the views are amazing! what a great way to spend the day! Loved it! Thanks for sharing this Beautiful area Will and Dawn 🤗Great places to stop!😁👍
I always enjoy your videos. Day Trips are a blast. So relaxing. It would be so cool to see the Smokies in the fall. Perhaps one year we can make that work. Enjoy your next ride!
I love the ideal u both go out and show all world wide what there is to do in all the towns and tell what things r and the whole video deal that's pretty cool of u both to do that theres not many folks that would do that r those kind of things
At 6:25 that store in this timestamp is a really good one. Whenever we're down there, we almost always go there. They have a ton of cool things to buy, you can try samples of fudge, and you can feed koi fish in the little pond they have there too :D
So glad to see this video even though it’s a couple years old it was just what I needed. As I’ve commented before we will be there mid October and didn’t realize it’s the biggest season they have so we haven’t been able to book any tours and such. I thought yesterday I’ll try the route your on myself even though I’m sure it will be packed. What I loved the most is you’ve shown me several places along the way we can stop. Another great video
Love ❤️ watching your videos, cause I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and don’t have the funds to visit. I did visit the Smoky Mountains 🏔 in 1984 and a lot of fun there. Your videos are beautiful and interesting. Thanks 🙏. From Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
We absolutely love your videos. Thank you so much for some great content. Love it when we visit east TN. Pigeon forge / Gatlinburg area is our favorite vacation spot. Wish we could live in that area.
This place is better than the beaches in Florida that are always crowded with drunks. The suburbs of Gatlinburg is where my wife and I will retire to. Very peaceful and stunning landscape to call home.
We have recently discovered your videos. Great job folks! We're going down to Tenn in a couple of weeks and your vids have gave up a lot of ideals of stuff to look for. Thanks!
I really enjoyed this video, exactly what I was looking for...showing how to get to areas and attractions, it gives a much better idea, please keep them coming! Thanks!

👍👍👍 huge thumbs up Will & Dawn, we will be down there 1-week from today. We always drive the foothills parkway and to Cades Cove. We always stay in a cabin just off Wears Valley Rd. .. on our last trip in 2017 we seen a beautiful rainbow right over Wears Valley. Thanks for sharing with us all .. and YES everyday is a great day to be alive 😀
We stayed in those cabins you pointed out to the left in Wears Valley, sort of tiny homes. We love that area. This type of video is great. Thanks for sharing.
Stayed by that cavern last time. Love Townsend. Will never go back to staying over by pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. Those places are too busy. Townsend is just so laid back.
Hi guys, Grandmothers kitchen is a great place to stop for breakfast on Wears valley rd. We come up a few times a year from South Fl. We hit all my favorite places to eat and always a few random ones as well. Great little place!!!
Never get tired of this video- one of my absolute favorites! It’s nice to see the Moonshine Ridge Country Store again- my family was broken hearted when they closed. ❤
