I was checking their their from the link you provided. I noticed that both seniors 65 and over and veterans are half price. That is awesome. What a relaxing way to spend some time going up the mountain on the sky lift then spending some time at The Hawks Nest. The ride back down has some beautiful views. This is a nice addition to the Wears Valley area which is really growing!

My husband and I did this back in September on our way into Townsend! Beautiful ride, and he got his jollies as he used to work at the Skylift In Gatlinburg. Last time I rode one was Ghost Town. Very nice people and an awesome experience!
Absolutely stunning views. I loved the beautiful simplicity of the deck when you reach the top. But I would have the swinging chairs facing the view. Gorgeous. Cheers

I didnt think that skylift would EVER open! Great to see this. The view looked spectacular. Hope y'all enjoyed having it all to yourselves because after this, everyone will come!
Yay! How wonderful! The tree with the big leaves is call Princess Tree, has purple flowers followed by nuts, grows super fast and most consider it a "weed tree".

Looks Ike a wonderful sky lift! Thanks Will and Dawn for taking us along. I like how it is not crowded (for now anyway) It didn’t look like you were ever real high up from the ground or maybe it was just how it looked on video. I also enjoyed the animals.Be safe.
I would like it. Peaceful instead of hectic like the other ones have become. Make a food stand and they would be good. I go up these to be peaceful and look at the mountains so i think its good. Would love to ride the horses next time we come. Keep it simple and dont block the views of the mountains like anakeesta has done for the rocking chairs. The view, rockin in chair eating a snack and sipping a beverage is why i go. Make sure there are ceiling fans in the gazebo in the summer to help keep away bugs. Need to trim the tops of some of those taller trees if you can so they dont block the views of the rockers.

We went here in late September and really loved it! Very smooth ride with great views and really nice staff. We are planning on going back again in the spring.
We drove right by it last week while on our way to/from the Foothills Parkway. Saw the sign for it...now I regret not stopping. It looks so peaceful/relaxing. We will have to add it to our list for next year.

That's more my speed. Been to Gatlinburg pigeon forge twice this year and the crowds were insane! You guys need to do a video on the best times to visit, when things are still open but not so crazy.

An hour and a half wait at the pancake house for breakfast,we ended up at mc ds for lunch and dinner because of the wait times at decent restaurants. The wife and I would love to go and be able to enjoy it without the crowds.

Was just there ! great people working there (pet the dog) got to the top and had a free moon pie and water , we just relaxed took in the breeze and view took a nap in a swing chair great time now its a must stop to relax
That was a nice peaceful ride and the views were beautiful and so were the horses and mules and oh my goodness that baby mule was everything it was so precious 💕🐴

Hi, any school night, with the exception of October, is rather calm. :-) not too much closes anymore but Dollywood does close for 2 months.

We were just there this week! We left today and back in Michigan! The big mountain in Wears Valley is Cove Mountain 🏔

At the 3:40 mark… that is a Doplemyer work basket… it’s used for maintenance… they are usually not left on the haul rope during public operation….
We enjoyed our visit to the general store last week..didn’t even notice the sky lift sign lol I think we were all focused on the Starbucks inside ☕️🤩
