I enjoy this channel immensely. Stuff I would actually eat, no pretentiousness, bg music is perfectly unnoticeable, and no ridiculous over pronunciation of foreign ingredients. I'm looking at you parmesan Reggiano. lol thank you! What a great chef.
I’ve made a lot of Bolognese or similar sauces over the years, but I learned a couple of things from this video. Making the veg bits and the meat bits about the same size so they blend better in the end result, and frying the meat a bit after its browned and the liquid is gone. Turkey or not, I’m going to try these next time. Thanks!
I don’t subscribe to a lot of youtubers. To be honest, I find most youtubers obnoxious. But I had to subscribe. No obnoxious loud screaming, hitting stuff, a bunch of quick cuts and memes, or catchphrases. No gimmicks. Just good food, good cooking instructions, good video production, even good music… overall just a pleasant show to watch. I can’t wait to try some of these!
@@chanelbell still delicious with ground turkey from the meat deli (skip the step of boiling your own turkey stew) and packaged pasta. 1. Ground turkey from deli 2. Dice all the veggies (carrots, onions, celery) 3. Heat the veggies and ground turkey, mix together 4. Add some high quality marina sauce as a base 5. Add in the heavy whipping cream, some butter, and a bit of white wine. Let it all simmer down and thicken up. 6. Boil some quality packaged pasta. 7. Mix together. Not as fresh tasting compared to the recipe in the video, but pretty convenient and easy to make.
I made this last night, following the recipe here except for 2 ingredients. I didn't have turkey fat so I used a little butter & olive oil instead & I used store bought turkey stock. Regardless, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I told my friend I'd bring her some leftovers today but that was before I knew that my family would devour it. NO LEFTOVERS. Oh! I almost forgot, I love the camera mouthpiece. Didn't know that existed.
I’m gonna make this next. 😅 I thank my friend every chance I get who recommended this show. Made 4 of your recipes and every one of them turned out ah-maze balls! My daughter is spoiled on the Sunday Sauce and my son recently requested to make again, the next time I see him, the smash burgers. 😊
I swear…I’ve gotten to the point where 95% of the stuff I watch on TH-cam…IS THIS GUY… This looks un-freakin-believable… But man oh man is there some labor involved with good cooking… I’m in my mid-50’s, am the cook of the house and I love it…And I’m learning more and more all the time from this channel…Huge thanks my man…keep up the awesome work..
Dude!! The Star Anise in the Don Angie sauce was amazing!! Also I want you to recommend using sliced pancetta out of the deli counter instead of those crappy pre-cut cubes they sell in the supermarket. Big fan 😂
Recently moved from Chicago to London. Was a bit down during Thxgiving, so going to make this recipe tonight & bring back some positive thanksgiving vibes. Had to make some substitutions but can’t wait to try it out! Thanks much for sharing!
Butter or olive oil isnt a bad shout, but butter browned would add a lot of flavour. Use butter and flavourless oil(like vegetable) together to help prevent it from burning
It's so smart how this guy incorporates his adverts -- doesn't go right into it, slips it in midway through and incorporates it so smoothly, you don't feel compelled to skip over it.
I just finished making overnight brodo and Demi glacé this afternoon for the sauce makings from your previous video. I’m glad to see your notification 💕 tbh I’m just going to chop left over cooked turkey and add it in. Great video on making turkey disappear 🪄
Hey there. Lots of love from Romania, i have been watching your videos for some time now, i really learned some good techniques and small secrets to add to my culinary skills. Love what you are doing it dude, and the way you are explaining all the small details. As a small personal request, is there any chance you would be willing to make a salmon and cream pasta dish?
Do you have the sauté pan that he uses in this video? I was excited for mine, but right out of the box on my first use I noticed the oil formed a donut in the pan because the center is higher. Pretty disappointing because I like the look of it and it’s a good price point. Obviously still usable but I have to watch out to avoid sticking/burning.
Speaking of stock, I made some chicken soup in my slow cooker, and my chicken, onion, garlic cloves, and poblano basically cooked for over 12 hours before I added carrots. It went so long, the cartilage in the chicken thighs literally melted and I couldn't find any in the bones or the stock when I tried to sift it for those things. I'm lucky enough to own an 8+quart slow cooker. It's the best broth I've ever tasted. I'd love to see a slow cooker brodo recipe. See if I can up my stock game.
The cartilage is there, it just turned to consume. As for carrots (and onions) add some in the beginning for flavor, then dice and add some of each towards the end for texture.
Sorry I’m so late to the show….but I just had to comment that your slow cooker method sounds amazing! And as far as Brodo goes, I think you know what to do😊….(just roast everything on sheet pans first like the Master Stock maker here.)
Dude holy shit. The amount of work you put into these videos is vastly under appreciated. You are a hard ass worker my friend. Much respect.
I liked how you reinforced the turkey flavor during every step including the fat to fry the meat in . Good job layering the flavors
I am a Bolognaise from the city of Bologna. And this recipe rocks! Well done
Bolognese 😊
DUDE.
I love this channel.
Literally can' t get enough of this show!!
Wow absolute Killer!! That is the most gorgeous bolognese sauce I have ever seen. That turkey stock looked amazing
I think many of us would rather have this than the “normal” Thanksgiving dinner 😆
No doubt! Of course, a lot of us Italian NYers grew up with Lasagna along with the turkey!
Absolutely!
Only if you're pretentious and don't really know how to actually cook.
I enjoy this channel immensely. Stuff I would actually eat, no pretentiousness, bg music is perfectly unnoticeable, and no ridiculous over pronunciation of foreign ingredients. I'm looking at you parmesan Reggiano. lol thank you! What a great chef.
Great looking stock. Love this version of bolognese. Really like that you added the Pancetta.
Wow...that sauce is gorgeous 😮💨♥️

definitely on the eve of a grand dinner, home made pasta and bolognese... sounds lovely but good as a Sunday lunch or a dinner amongst friends...
Yum. Comfort food at its finest.
Interesting. Pancetta in bolognese. So many variations.
Wow. Herbs into bolognese. Hallelujah.
Love these videos. I've been binging for a good while now. This is my favorite channel.
I’ve looking for a Turkey Bolognaise for years. Thanks
Excellent, this is cooking. If you made this for your family, they will love you for LIFE.
BLESS YOU! You are one of my absolute faves on TH-cam. Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving (and yeah, ordering MadeIn stuff).
Thank you so much for making this video! Going to make this for Christmas!
Appreciate this, thank you!! Great job!
That bolognese is better than some I've had here in Italy. Good job mate.
I actually applauded as he was plating it at the end !!

Wow mouth watering recipe. Delicious thanks for sharing your time.
I took a few shortcuts and this still turned out excellent. Very savory flavor. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Can u name them? I'd like to make this but 2-3 hrs is a bit much...
What shortcuts?

Outstanding bolognese sauce Stephen COMPLIMENTI
That looks so good! Thanks for this recipe.
Thank you for showing this pasta
The recipe just came out when I was going to make bolognese tonight! Love that one, great stuff as always
I just ate but this video has my mouth watering.
Looks delicious 🥰
This was so good. Added a little Worcestershire because I didn’t use pancetta and it was amazing
This is great! I love the food processor shortcut!
I've been making bolognese w turkey for years since my wife doesnt like beef. Its such an easy but time consuming thing to make. my boys love it.

The stock!...ohhh when I see real slow cooked stock, sniffle* it heals the wounds upon my soul.
Wow I love your videos ,brings me back to mamma's house
Did this with chicken stock and normal beef and it's fantastic. Thank you for sharing
Man this is fire 🔥 thank you
Great job!!!

I spatchcock turkeys when I smoke them. I’ll save the backs now for stock. Good tip, thanks!
This is great food anywhere in the world.
That looks sooooo delicious! Can't wait to try it!!!! Love all your videos.

Big fan 😂
this is surreal
I think I am going to make this. I am not a fan of ground turkey but this makes me want to give it a go.
I absolutely love your cooking show! Could you do a mushroom stroganoff video!
I like the fact that he is one of the few guys that doesn't crap all over italian cuisine. Good job!
This looks so damn good. Gives me proper holiday nostalgia
Omg looks fabulous!! I need to make this 😍
This looks too good! Gonna have to make this! Thanks for making and sharing this!
Sometimes I drift and may not check in every week on your stuff But Dude every time I come back you have the most amazing stuff Bravo
My new fave ragu recipe 😍
I can't wait to try this.
Normally not a big pasta fan but after watching this, I could use a plate of that and a good nap.
that looks so good
Another great video , thank you. Where can I get a cutting board that big ???
Tbh, kinda glad to hear the mark rover bgm.
Love your video's and recipes! Keep up the good work! ;)
Amazing
Amazing, this is one of the best bolognese sauce I have ever seen
wow thanks
Absolutely beautiful sauce. Great job brother. I just made my holiday bolognese last week.
Wow looks Devine!
I appreciate you discussing the fond, seems important to develop one and deglaze it with red wine
dude, u are a genius
Happy Thanksgiving bro, and thanks for all the great meals.
Man that looks so yummy 🤤
Recently moved from Chicago to London. Was a bit down during Thxgiving, so going to make this recipe tonight & bring back some positive thanksgiving vibes.
Had to make some substitutions but can’t wait to try it out!
Thanks much for sharing!
Duuuuude! I need!
Breh. This guy’s a genius this is insane
suggestion for a turkey fat substitution?

Happy Thanksgiving from Canadian Patreon 👏
My fav food channel 🤩

I skip all ads 100% of the time. I don't care how smooth the transition is.
Cooked a whole turkey just for the stock. Now thats effort af 😂
Except he didn’t
I thought that lol. All he cooked was Turkey thighs 😂
Overnight too, still looks delicious but I expected more from those turkey legs
It pretentious and unnecessary actually.
I wish beef screech could whine about him being pretentious some more......where's your video one upping him?

Please cook for me!!! Happy Thanksgiving!
valid eats
The recipe link in the description doesn’t seem to be working for me! It looks like a great pasta dish though!
Hell yeah!
Always good content! And just a note on the sponsor -- Made In cookware is absolutely fantastic. I use it every day.

whats the thinking behind adding the carrots in later?
