Unclog Your RV Black Tank

Tony demonstrates the "Jackson method" of unclogging the black tank on our RV. We recently had a clog and tried several different ways to get it unstopped, but none of them worked. When he tried this method though, it worked like a charm! It also worked for one of our RV park neighbors after Tony told him about it. As a reminder, make sure to keep an eye on how much water you're using, or use a gauge if you have one. You don't want the black tank to back up into your RV! That would be a huge mess! After dumping the black tank on my 3X 388RKS I will close the auxiliary gate valve like you have, keeping the black tank valve open, then open the gray tank valve for a count of 10 seconds then shut gray tank valve. The water will flow back into the black tank. I then will open the auxiliary gate valve and drain the black tank, I do this several times. I have found that this method cleans the black tank better than the internal cleaning valves. Make sure that you have some gray water to for a final cleaning of the hose.
