I can understand a lack of Roxas due to him looking similar to Ventus it'd be easy to confuse the figures, but Axel was right there to use instead of Mulan.

Well he's technically with the organization he's not like a "hero" type. Also probably why they don't have Roxas either. At first I thought it was weird to have Ventus but technically Roxas was part of organization 13.
I love Axel though i feel like we really went and watched all those suns sets after a long day of work.

@@ivanelugo exactly, that's why she couldn't be used as a playable character. She was in organization 13, the opposing side of all the other playable characters

Did they just forget Roxas, one of the most important and well known characters...
And put in Xion, who literally GOT FORGOTTEN IN UNIVERSE.

Every single turn. Also before your turn you must introduce yourself if you are Sora, Donald, or Goffy
constantly and over one another.

Nomura isn't human, he can make 2+2= plot in kingdom hearts if he wanted (and no referencing Re:CoM)

ok, so comparing to vanilla Talisman, they took out PvP fights in favour of trades and "asking for help"
And they changed the win condition to a point system rather than the crown of command.
Also alignments appear to be gone, which is a shame since light and dark characters exist in kingdom hearts.
If nomura makes this relevant to the plot then that means he is an absolute menace
I'm going to laugh so hard if there's extra story for KH3 in this board game

@@seeleyboothfan2 No the MOM possessed Luxu and became Xigbar but Luxu's heart was so strong it transported bodies and entered Mulan.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is that Mulan is a playable character. It should have been Riku. She has to stay in The Land of Dragons to protect the World Order.

This game looks so complex for a board game. I love it and want it.
The whole dial spinning thing for the Health, Strength, and Craft (Magic) is a much more better idea than those plastic cone pieces from the original Talisman.
I love Mulan, so not complaining, but why? Out of all the Disney characters or female Kingdom Hearts cast, why her? Wasn't she just in one game?
How do you purchase the cards from the pile?!
Does cure spell when using it on someone else, do they have to be on the same tile or can i just use it wherever the other character is?

My brother being a fan of the Kingdom hearts universe, he'll sure love the game. Might get it for him.
Does this game play like talisman or does it add something new. For example themed monoply still plays exactly like monoply. Whole pandamic: regin of cthuthlu play differently than pandamic with new rules (no outbreaks) and mechanics (sagoth, sanity, flipping old ones).
A few different mechanics and a different win condition. All out victory is replaced with a point system, which makes sense considering KH is more about bonding than murdering your allies.
I’m very confused about one aspect and that’s the part that says you subtract a card value if there is already a card linked to a space, so if I land on a space and it’s inhabited by a heartless and before I encounter it I have to pick up an adventure card, does that mean I don’t pick up an adventure card?
As I understand basically you take a space to max cards.
So, essentially think of it as you draw from the space then the deck
if there is a card in the space you draw a card or two, for example, say like a draw one card but there is already a card there you do not draw adventure a card in that space so you have to do the card that is already on the board. if you go to draw two cards in space and there is already 1 card inboard there then you draw one and do the other card that is on the board ect if there is no card in that space then you draw a card

I was looking at the blurry picture on EBgames trying to figure out the characters, and the one I couldn't figure out is Mulan, lmao.
...I love Talisman, owning all but one expac for 4th revised edition, but it feels like GW is trying to turn it into Monopoly.
I mean, it basically IS Monopoly only better to begin with, but still...
Also why Mulan? They put Xion and Ventus in, but what about Roxas, Terra and, most importantly, Aqua?

@@charliebell5584 Oh no, they've got Riku. In fact, they have all the important people EXCEPT for Roxas. In his place, we get Mulan, the only character that doesn't world-hop
it is just and example, the game have 11 characters. The original trio, the BBS trio, Kairi, Riku, Xion and Mulan. Idk it could be good to have a FF character instead of Mulan Like Yuffie. But not copmplaining, the game is full of details and seems fun to play or watch.
It's a shame that instead of using awesome and important characters like Axel and Roxas they go with Mulan... like wut?

Talisman is a winner takes all game that rewards cut throat politics and strategy really doesn’t fit the whole kingdom hearts Disney theme at all.

@@kenhuff404 I mean it's basically just the house/alternative rules, since a variant of Talisman just ends when the first player reaches the Crown. This isn't really a new game ending.
@@baixiaolang yes, but I still prefer the original "king of the mountian" where they have to take you out or die. You fought long and hard to get there with the other players backstabbing you the entire way, time to enjoy their suffering.

You know they did this as a quick cash grab and not out of love because MULAN! Seriously?
I think the game was designed before it was revealed Axel could weild a keyblade (it was shelved for a while) and they didn't want to use Roxas because it could be confused for Ventus. A strange design choice but an understandable one. I recently bought this game and it's very fun, definitely for KH fans! The design of the board and the cards and every peice is so well crafted, it feels like it was made by people who love the games.

So we not gonna explain what the charms are for!? Nothing in the rule book talks about them.
This game has so many small issues, it feels heavily rushed and partially incomplete.
As far as I know it’s only used to keep track of the adventure cards that are connected to that space. you simply place one charm on that empty space and the other on the adventure card drawn from that space just to keep track of it
