I'm glad ya do. I try to make the videos start and end at a time that makes sense, at least to me. On these camping videos, the longer videos just seem to make sense.

The sturgeon was a nice surprise. I've fished the Mississippi mostly pools 19 and 20, 19 and the skunk and des moines most extensivly, for 40+ years now and just a couple of years ago caught my 1st sturgeon in 20. I was thrilled and I also discovered their skin/armor will cut your hands up but good. The thing I dearly love about those waters is that you can catch so many species. I've caught everything from eel to paddlefish to sturgeon, bowfin, gar, buffalo, drum, every color of bass from white, green, yellow to rock. Cats of all types. Pike and pickerel. Even hook the odd clam. (Dived and tended boat for clams when that was a thing in the 80s.) The mystery of what you might have at the end of your line just never loses its magic. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
Dear Spencer, my husband got me watching you. Side note: We eat and make alot of jalapeno poppers. You need an oven of some sort to cook those poppers. That way the bacon cooks all over. Would love to see you eat more poppers, just got to cook them.

I found a similar area kinda like this it produced 8lbrs consistently during the day & night, my line would drift towards the bank near a tree, I’d get hammered every time, till one day we went in the daytime to see why they hit so close to the bank, turns out lots of people camp there & throw their chicken bones, ribs & other assorted scraps, it’s only 3 to 2 feet deep in that spot……..nice catches spencer😮

Here in michigan, walleye season just opened up recently. I go every year for 1-2 weeks for a walleye fishing trip to a family special spot.
This year, I caught 1-3 perfect sized eaters per night, and then i also caught my PB 30in. It had to be around 10 lbs. I decided to get it mounted. I love your content man. You're living the dream.

First thing I noticed. Well look at who got some Talons!! I was the one who suggested them over the PowerPoles. You won’t be disappointed man. There’s really no comparison.
I love them so far. I just hope they're durable
@@RiverCertified Had the same set since 2013 on a Z522 Ranger. Still going strong 10 years later. There’s a lot of advantages. Durability is only one major advantage. Holding ability is another. PowerPoles have a pivot in the arm where it extends. If you’re in current sideways at all, they WILL bend/flex at the pivot point. And since they don’t monitor their anchor force like Talons do, they will lose their anchoring ability. Talons don’t have that problem. There’s no pivot point. Also, they have a the ability to be manually brought up should the motor fail. I want to say it’s a 5/8 socket but I could be wrong. Never had to use mine. PowerPoles do have a valve you can release the hydraulic pressure but it bleeds the fluid.
I work for the largest professional bass fishing tournament trail. Worked a tournament filming down in Louisiana. My staff boat had power poles. I was filming the 2nd day leader back in an oxbow. My PowerPole just randomly failed. I had to raise my outboard all the way up, crawl out on my lower unit, and stick my arm under lily pads in alligator infested water to tie a rope to the pivot arm and pull it up. There was no other option. Pucker factor 10.
We have guys all the time beach their boats for weigh-ins, pole down, and have to go get rides from other boaters to retrieve their boats because they’ve floated away. I’ve been doing this almost 15 years. You 100% made the right call.
@@bigbore4498 that's awesome to hear. I questioned my decision because the bass elite guys all used Raptors or power poles. I like the concept of the talons better. I was just concerned about the durability. Thanks for helping to alleviate that concern.
@@RiverCertified No problem. The reason they use them is because they are a sponsor. Same in MLF. And people buy them for that exact reason. “Well the pros use this or that”. Yep. Because they are paid to. You really think KVD runs a nitro because it’s the best? That’s f-ing laughable. It’s because Johnny pays him a shit ton of money run one and say it’s the best. Because if KVD says it, people will buy it. And they do. By the thousands every year. Anyways. I’m kind of off on a tangent. Enjoy those Talons. They’ll serve you well. See ya on the next vid.
