@@HighAdventureVideos I got an idea for another boat mod to give you; it's a fulcrum shelf for your cooler and you can do a smaller one for a cutting table

@@HighAdventureVideos yeah that was a pretty cool idea and its better anyway to learn something new and do it yourself! I said go to and upholstery shop and get them to do it but that would of cost alot of money! My brother in law use to work on upholstery on the side and he charged his own mother in law! My mom! A 100 dollars to re cloth an old stool to sit on to do her makeup for her bathroom! I told him to just forget about doing my truck headliner for me after i heard the price he charged my mom! We should get family discount prices bro!

I left you a message on there I was trying to talk about your 5 gallon bucket home Depot bucket drill holes in it a foot and a half up zip tied to lid down and it's easier for you to get your bait out of the 5 gallon bucket with the lid that's not spring loaded like that yellow bait bucket you got it's really hard cuz you're lose a lot of bait that way this DIY it yourself and you can even keep the bucket flush level with the top of the boat with a water still going through the holes inside of the boat

Medium Pressure (29.70 - 30.40/Fair Weather) - Normal Fishing using different gear or baits to meet the needs of the fish.
Low Pressure (29.60 and under/Cloudy/Rainy Weather) - Fishing Slows. Go at them slow in deeper water or near cover.
Rising Pressure/Improving Weather - The fish are slightly active. Go at them slow in deeper water or near cover.
Stable Pressure/Fair Weather - Normal Fishing. This is the perfect to try different gear or baits.
Falling Pressure/Degrading Weather - Best Fishing. The fish are likely to take anything they can get!!

Tip. Use a shock leader on your Carolina rig your using. Example. 12 lb test main line and 30 lb test from swivel to the hook. Main line now breaks around 20 lbs. Reason? Higher lb test lines mono stretch longer distance before they break. Basically it's like have a spring on the bottom of your line. I catch garfish 50-80 lbs. Regularly. This works I gurantee it. Esp 20lb to 50lb shock.

Barometric pressure will “move” water and temperature. Say on a nice sunny spring spring when a sandy shoreline would heat up the fastest, then a front comes in. That warm water doesn’t just cool off... the warmer water dissipates it’s heat into the cooler water. High and rising barometric pressure (nicer days) will keep the water on the sandy shoreline warming up. Falling barometric pressure (overcast and/or fronts) will pull that warm water out. The bigger the lake the more drastic, and it can even move thermoclines. You’ll often hear charter captains on big lakes say a lake “rolled over” that means the water temps flopped due to barometric pressure. Warm shorelines cool off and the warmer water will be off those shorelines at the surface. Making many baitfish, and gamefish, suspend chasing around that warmer water and harder to catch.

In total, about how much do you think your boat and camping setup cost? I really like it and the idea of camping overnight on the water

Bought the boat for 11K, now I transformed it from a hunting boat to a fishing vessel so I put a lot on it but the tent is like $180, Cook wear a total of $150 or so, Heater was like $100 and I actually just upgraded the battery system so I can stay out longer and that cost about $2,300 cause I bought Lithium batteries. Plus bedding and such probably another $250.

@@HighAdventureVideos gracias Micah! I don’t remember if you said in another video or not, but was the boat brand new when you bought her?

@@HighAdventureVideos FOR just once Micah HAV, you had a piece of kit I recognized, the Anke stuff.
I shall have to check to see if they have a British website, not that anything solar powered will be much use in this 'overclouded' 🌥️🌦️☁️🌧️island 🧐
