Tbf, I always think of it like the cartoon is the same for them, but that's what they think live-action is. Sort of like how we see the world in 3D, and that's our "live-action", even though the universe exists in higher dimensions than that
That's unlikely. It's best to assume that characters look the way we see them for the most part, and thats just what 'realistic' looks like for their universe.

@Yarashii-sensei It just means he doesn't know much, and if he tried to actually speak the language, he'd get a lot wrong. He'd still probably have a better time learning a French song than someone who knows no French, though.

You woke up in the middle of the night from muffled sounds coming from the hallway. Curiosity got you onto your feet and out of your room, determined to know more about this sound. It seems to be some soft jazz music. You feel the place shaking a bit as the vibrations of the sound gently shook the hallways. It was somewhat comforting.
Soon, the music is accompanied by a male voice singing. It sounds like the radio demon you spoke to earlier. This made the comforting song sound a bit eerie, but also quite more intriguing. You find yourself walking towards where the music is coming from, probably the Radio Demon’s room. The door to his room was slightly ajar, so you let yourself peek in a bit.
It was indeed Alastor, the Radio Demon. He was singing as he was playing the piano. You stood in the door for quite a while, just appreciating the good music.
The music suddenly stopped. You find Alastor turning around from his piano to look at the person at the door. “Ah, it’s you, our new guest! Apologies if I had woken you up due to me playing some songs. I was itching to play some tunes and it just couldn’t wait til the morning!”
“Oh! No no! Its fine!” You assure. “Sorry for uh- snooping in and disturbing you. You play wonderfully though!”
Alastor’s perpetual (kind of disturbing) smile seemed to turn into a more comforting one. “Well, I wasn’t expecting any audience so it’s not a stage worthy performance but thank you!” He gestures to a seat in his room. “If you want to, you can stay and listen some more. Got any requests?”
You come in and sat down, then state a song of your liking. And music filled the room once again.

A few minutes later, long black tentacles crackling with green ominous electricity shoot out of the ground and lock all the doors to his room, as the Radio Demon presents his hand to make a deal, with a wide smile full of yellow sharp teeth and crimson glowing eyes.

This is actually quite lovely. Imagine this:
You arrived at the hotel on a normal day, 'round noon, perhaps? You get to know the staff and go through some trust exercises until 9 pm. Charlie says, "You look tired after that! Why dont you head to sleep?" So you do that. However, after some time of tossing and turning in your bed, you hear the clock strike midnight. Shortly after, you begin to hear this lovely tune. The tune is comforting, and alluring. You decided to quietly open your door, and you hear the voice of the Radio Demon singing with the tune. You couldn't help but walk quietly, closer to his room whilst he played. You didn't want to disturb him, so you stood for a moment by his door, it slightly cracked open. You peek in there, and there he is, singing and playing the tune with his eyes closed. You decided to sit by the door, and enjoy listening to his voice. But that comforting and alluring voice made you fall asleep, sitting there with your arms wrapped around your legs. You awoke in your bed, with a note, seeming to be from the Radio Demon himself. It says "I never knew people would have enjoyed my tune that much, perhaps next time I play, come down to my room? I'd be delighted to have you watch."

Honestly... I think all big hotels are like this. I've been in a few where no one is around and it's just soft music echoing through the hotel, it's soothing but extremely creepy.
imagine that is alastors sound when he does nothing and he fill the hotel up with some nice jazz everyone loving it but al notice it and can't stop cuz he is doing that not on purpose xD
I can just imagine roaming the halls near the upper floors when I hear his voice, following the sound, and finding an empty ballroom. I don't think Alastor would realistically want me to bother him, so I'd just sit on the floor and hold my knees to my chest while humming quietly. I can see him being annoyed but amused.

I imagine that Alastor just doesn’t sleep ( backed up by vivzies livestreams ) and just sings calming songs at night when everyone else is asleep to calm them , a softer side of Alastor
Imagine: It's been a few weeks since you first landed in this hotel & it's a normal night of insomnia, yay! So, you decide to take a walk to clear your head. But as you begin to turn down the hall, you hear music & singing?? So, you go to check it out, only to end up in front of Alastors door. His voice is so calming & beautiful that you sit on the floor beside his door, listening in with a smile on your face. But unfortunately, you fall asleep &, when you wake up, you're back in your bed. Was it all a dream? You sighed & got up before spotting a note on your bedside table. It reads: 'If you're really that enamoured with my singing, come in next time darling & you'll have a front row seat~'

Ngl if I heard that in the hotel I’d be too scared to approach Alastor, this is both soothing and creepy. Like I would be sorta brave enough to maybe leave my room and follow the singing and maybe peer into wherever it’s coming from but I’d probably be too scared to stick around or talk to him and just end up bolting back to my room 😂
Pov: you fell asleep early to avoid the loud parties in the hotel lobby, you woke up as the crowd began to die down from downstairs and you hear the sound of piano playing and the staticky voice, that is Alastor’s, coming from the lobby.
You slowly sneak to the lobby to see Alastor’s back facing you. You sneak to a piece of furniture and rest your head on the arm rest of a velvet sofa.
Before Alastor can move on to the final verse, he says, without batting an eye. “Caught your ear, didn’t it?”
You sit up rather flustered but as he continues, you continue to listen, slowly resting back on the sofa again, being lullabied by a close friend.

i had a dream in the hazbin hotel and in the center was a round room with a lava pit you have to jump into the lava to get back to your room becuase a spacial anomaly.

The echo traveling through the empty hotel feels pretty depressing, especially after the finale knowing that none of the crew knows that Pentious isn’t actually dead.. it almost feels like there is a scene of sorrow in the air..
This sounds more like Alastor is the last person in a abandoned and broken hotel, a dead dream of a long erased princess, his song echoing into the dead halls of what was supposed to be a place of redemption, only to be snuffed out by the anglic flames of adam and his army. Now he resides in the place that gave him so much entertainment, singing to himself everyday wondering if he failed the hotel or if he let his personality get the better of him.

So when he gave Charlie his mic for “Ready for this” he wasn’t just helping her rally the cannibals, it was a call to action for everyone, everywhere to prepare for the extermination. It also explains how he was able to live broadcast his killing of the ancient overlords.

This is oddly nostalgic, when I was at universal studios when I was slightly younger, we stayed at one of the 50’s themed hotels and I had this playing in my headphones as I walked down the hallway at multiple points. It was so, pleasant, and oddly terrifying. It was so nice, but oddly lonely and ethereal. This brings back this memories.
I would lean outaide his door and listen to this all night. Im a fan of older music like this and it soothes me beyond end.
