If they could have same female lead the rest of the series we might have clearly understood the transition… Bringing up a new lead is only making us take time to adapt to her…. N the new kosem’s is not composed she is a bit hyper active… As a person age the way they become composed increases… but it’s giving a disconnect…

I think Princess Farya is a tremendous character with a great character concept & backstory & the actress is excellent.. She’s probably one of the few genuinely good hearted characters in the show. But I can see why it can take a long time to like her. Other than the first few episodes, she doesn’t really get much screen time to shine, the writers put her in some goofy 2nd tier story lines & understandably she is often very reserved & defensive around people she doesn’t trust.
The third kosem is the best The second kosem was absolute trash When they told her the biggest of secrets this was her reaction 🧐 Literally the entire season except in the death scene of her son mohamad This was her reaction throughout..🧐😊 The entire. Season. She was bland. And doesn't have nearly the same acting skills in the kosem role as the third actress does. I personally would have preferred for the blonde kosem to stay kosem instead of beren saat and then do the change to this third kosem in season 2 no need for beren saat. Edit: compare beren saat acting as sultana and her reactions to vital secrets and scenes with meryem whom played hurrem. Doesn't even come close or compare meryem is 100thousand times better at Playing a sultana than beren saat Even the actress that played humashah sultan is better than beren saat as kosem Or the mother of ahmad? Sure she was annoying. But boy did she know how to act and cry when she is told too. I can go on and on.
They're using the same storyline of Ibrahim's infidelity to Hatice from MC1 with Gevherhan and her husband 🙄 he even has a kid with the other woman just like Ibrahim did with Nigar 🤣
True but it was done so much better in the case of Ibrahim & Hatice as we got to know them over time & follow their love story & of course there was Ibrahim playing the violin for Hatice. We don’t get anything like that here, it’s like they just expect us to care about Geverhan & Torpal before we’ve even really met them.

You’re right there is very little chance of the Popes plan succeeding. But it makes sense that the Pope would try to unify the Christian kings against a common foe. That said, some of the Protestant kings & princes like Farya’s father (Prince Gabor) had very good relations with the Ottoman empire & were enemies with the Catholic League & the Holy Roman Emperor.

Kosem shouldn't be so angry because Murad wants to rule. He can take some of her advice, but none she wants to completely rule the dynasty.
