Awesome video and finally someone focuses on Entwistle diring the solo so many videos from back in the day never did most notoriiously Monterey. Love this.
Wow who is this ah I remember the who was so incredible my body and my head can't stop to head bangnging and my soul was never stop dancing like guitar this band was so look good and amazing this fucking great.........
Holy cow, when these guys burned like this they were the Gods. It didn't always happen, but it's such a nasty, angry, fun, adolescent, punk party when it does.
When u see it that way the who and led zeppelin are kinda like twins Pete and jimmy are both moving a lot guitarist John entwistle and john paul jones shy bassist Roger and Robert look alike singer And john and keith 2 of the best drummer in world as the technique and rock n roll lifestyle
Roger Daltrey- “somebody says something libellious, and we sue them!” Pete Townsend- “Al-fucking-right then!” Keith Moon- “play a fucking number Townsend!” Basically they are just screaming at each other
Everybody talked about the Beatles during the British invasion, but it's like band's like Cream and the who were far better. Sure the Beatles are great but the who was more of a rock and roll band from the beginning and the Beatles were more of I hate to say it but more like a boy band at the beginning. This is my opinion don't hate me but hate what I said.
Enwistle, baby. Untouchable. The greatest. Ever.
John was a King of Bass! Killer badass bass line!
THE King of Bass. None better.
0:41 the moment Keith throws the drum stick
Lol
John Entwistle with his supermega bass an Alembic Spider ! 💪🎸
Maybe he renamed him to Boris.😀
@@tommy8058 he had a boris the spider bass, it had fur and shaped like a spider it's silly 😂
entwistle was a Bass guitar God!!
He’s the only bass guitar god! All inferior players just play bass!

Justin Chancellor is aight
A great bassist
gods don't die.
The best live band EVER!!!!! No question!!! I can watch video of the original lineup all day!! Thank you for posting!
Always been, in my mind anyways, the world’s first punk song!
and the kinks?
It's really not a punk song ... listen to The Fugs, that's "punk" for you
@@End-Result not really
@@monzaoimperador They only got the sound down, meanwhile The Who already had the attitude and the rebelliousness

You can't play solo on bas!! Ox-hold my beer!
The Ox I found Bass to be very boring I wanted to turn it into a Solo Instrument.
@@Barbarian1244 the only way to do that was to turn up the treble
@@Endidixknsej everything I played, I just found it too easy
@@Barbarian1244 shut up

Un pure morceaux de rock comme ils savaient le faire , énergie dynamisme ...

Very very nice though I longed for the "See me. feel me . . ." ending.
Please upload shakin all over from this gig ... PLEASEEEEE
Yes indeed, great suggestion! Maybe in a few days I'll try to upload in this channel
I always get confused with these 2 differents lives Kilburn 1977 and Shepperton 1978 since wore the same outfits
That is a story behind it, search for "The Kids Are Alright" film. Fun fact: Moon's outfit is not the same
keith was at nearly his worst, but damn those drums sound good! punchy and warm, christ.
Epic
can somebody repeat for me as a German, what they are shouting in the beginning?
As a brazilian, I don't know either
Roger Daltrey- “somebody says something libellious, and we sue them!” Pete Townsend- “Al-fucking-right then!” Keith Moon- “play a fucking number Townsend!” Basically they are just screaming at each other
@@willemhoyles9331 Pretty sure it's keith saying the first line not roger
@@willemhoyles9331 thats obvious, I'm talking about the first line
Pete townshend you fucking loved moonie don't bullshit us !!
Wow John..!!!! using pick?
I think it's taken from the live at shepperton studios in 1978 not kilburn
The footage is definitely not Shepperton. Look at Keith’s outfit. Audio- I have no idea
Big Pete Townshend!! Alright F...... then! 😂
Let's play a fucking number Townsend
Alright then lets play a # TAZZY priceless my generation
The Ox!!
Man, alcohol really had an effect on them here…

Ginger baker was great in terms of playing but he was such an asshole
Helter Skelter
Yeah I feel the Beatles were more of an all of the above or jack of all trades band.
