I've been a scout leader, a backcountry program counselor and guide. I went out way off the trail in a number of forests, often alone and have excellent hearing.
Until just the last couple of years, I really only thought the only real thing I had to worry about in the woods was bears and maybe a mountain lion. I can't deny that there's a lot of evidence out there, but I never saw, smelled, felt, heard anything that suggested a presence of the Sabe people nor heard stories from other guides about them.
That being said, I think that it's important to have an open mind even if you can't help being skeptical. I don't think that I would have been so carefree in the forest if i'd have known and wouldn't have had the outdoors life that I had..
Maybe ignorance was bliss! Now, I'm developing what I call a BFP - bigfoot protocol - that perhaps will decrease your chances of having a dangerous encounter.
It involves an inexpensive recorder flute, two mellow, well rehearsed songs and gifting objects like sweet potatoes, carrots (organic only) apples, red peppers, oranges and bananas. I wouldn't look them in the eyes too much either and would actually say in my mind that I won't film them.
Only irrational humans would want to become 'famous' or make money off 'proving' they exist. Just knowing for yourself should be good enough in my opinion.
I got a chuckle out the, alien pet theory.

It's actually quite possible, & we've got endless proof both exist, & much credible testimony linking them, so why is it so far-fetched?

This is the best big foot documentary I have seen and I think I've just about seen them all - the accounts where the incidents happened to people, and were in police reports recorded as a bear on hind legs who picked up the screaming woman upon the sight of it carrying a deer on its back, snapping the young woman in half infront of the young boy/man with her and then carrying on walking away with its deer; the woman that was found crying by the lake after following an hours long communicative signal from the same place where a pine cone was the on at a woman nowhere near any pine trees to get their attention; the trees crossed the way they were - they could not have fallen that way; the body in the tree, dismembered and displayed with the gun snapped in half... Not only did my parents see what they described as had to be a juvenile big foot jump straight down from the tree tops and down on the ground right in front of them, scare the dogs so much that it took along time to find one of them, and then just walked away: I've always been a believer and curious since I was a child. The only thing that seems to take me a million miles away from life's stresses is nature and big foot investigations - maybe Im drawn to them in peace, albeit I find it terrifying at the same time, is perhaps being out in nature without our man made stresses, that I plain and simply envy them!
I've been living in Colorado since 1972, myself, my horses, my dog began packing into the back country since the early 70's, my purpose was to hunt for gems and minerals, a little gold panning and to be with my horses, Bailey, Hotchkiss, pikes peak area, Estes park area, and Yampa have been favorite areas, where the place to park the horse trailer would be, from there I'd go as far in as time would allow, in summer I'd be gone for a couple weeks, much safer then imo, then it is now but i began have experiences almost right away, I've had so, so many, the sasquatch are quite real, I'm old now and don't go as frequently as i once did, however in a couple places, one being above and behind Bailey so to speak I'm certain there are sasquatch there that remember me, i was up there alot, same areas over 40 years, i believe there's an elder and a couple that were then juveniles, go in a good way, set your intention, I've always done it for myself, for my own reasons, I've never felt the need to take pictures, i know, that's enough
Really, I think it would be very arrogant of us humans to say Sasquatch does not exist! The human race may be more advanced technology wise, but these guys have something we will never have, the smell,the sound to know approaching danger, an inner cloaking device and a way to hide their bones so no one will find them! One day we will get the absolute 100% proof to make everyone a believer! I don’t spend enough time in the woods to have seen one, but, I’d love to!
I've heard this several times. People physically saying out loud that they mean no harm, they are here to do this and that, and they will be gone at such time, and some say to leave them something. I've also heard people say that they hate it when you're there trying to take their picture. At least the ones they interacted with hated it. They would literally cause their phones and cameras to stop working. Bobo from finding Bigfoot said that in his first sighting, he went to grab his camera to take a picture of this massive Sasquatch standing in front of him, and he says that immediately, he heard a voice in his head that told him, " If you take my picture, I will kill you and take your dead body so deep into the woods that know one will find it. " he said that he can't say it was mind speak from this huge Sasquatch, but he knew that it could do everything that the voice warned him of, so he decided not to grab his camera. I say, good decision Bobo.

This dude vomiting his stories at the end has brought new observational perspectives and knowledge that I’ve seeking for a while now. He’s the kind of person, one with knowledge for their passion, that you just listen as the go off.
The best view point on the Patterson-Gimlin evidence that people overlook is that the footage can't be re-created .If it was a hoax than it would have been re-created by now.If a hoaxer tried tried to remake the film they would only fail. No one can make the video again because the Patterson footage is authentic.
You have to understand that this was is a one take film with no editing ( so what you see is what you get ) You see muscles through the tendence, you see muscle shock absorbers in the bones, you see what other hoaxers could never recreate.Thats because it can't be remade unless you film a real Sasquatch walking for that distance in broad daylight.
People tend to overlook the simple viewpoint that no one can remake the film again without it being a clear hoax unless you are fortunate enough to film a real live Bigfoot.

Some dogs will find retic points in gardens even buried.Have been told they sense them thought the solenoid operation.
Use thermal.uv triggers on the game cams can be seen..put a 360 can on the top of a tent surround the tent with out ward facing regular led light.all triggered from inside the tent..if you hear or feel thers a distutbance near the tent activaye all light and the 360 cam and keep it going for a few mins..should be able to catch somthing trail cans dont work especially when you just strap them on a tree
I can see infrared led on a night vision security camera..its easy to see
WITHOUT A DOUBT they can see IR. Matter of fact I've wondered if that is where we gotten the idea for IR, from Sasquatch or should I say, the studying and dissecting of them. I have seen one on video turn directly at the IR and I have heard of them turning their head right at it when it comes on.
Like when someone hasn't infrared camera and they use an extra infrared light. They can see that just like it's a light.
And that may be why their eyes turn red...
My wife and I moved to shannon County Missouri (the Ozarks) 8 months ago. We live off grid butted up to National Forest. We here in the country see things everyday and it would engulf your whole life if you let it. Iconic episode of the Six Million Dollar Man! Not my first introduction when I was a little kid in the '70's, but definitely a classic. Bigfoot seemed huge back then with the remnants of the PG film still around, In Search Of..., Legend of Boggy Creek, etc. - there was even a Bigfoot board game I had at one point.
Bigfoot was made up by the toy cartel. The scam, the ruse, is bigger than ever these days. Over $100 billion dollar a year industry which represents 10% of our GNP. No way are they gonna NOT keep the charade going. Everyone is in on it and no one wants to say otherwise cause all that money goes away.
I had seen one at age 6 or 7. Then one came into camp when I was 13 or 14. When I saw the tv show with their version of one, we all sat in silence bc the idea the being was known was like seeing our family secret !.

And then in the 80's we got Harry and the Henderson's. I love that movie. I really enjoy most Bigfoot stuff, from the 70's to now.

I heard about Bigfoot before the Patterson and Gimlin footage out in Colorado. It was before the Six Million Dollar Man show with Lee Majors and Andre The Giant but I remember that footage exciting the kids my age in my neighborhood. I enjoyed watching this content. I learned a few new things from it.

The one thing they got wrong was. They do speak. The Sierra sounds proved that no doubt.
They speak. And we're listening. We love the ❤️ Sasquatch language. It's elegant, demonstrative, and persuasive. Sasquatch is the ultimate salesman. He grunts, or howls, and people go crazy and are willing to spend their bottom dollar on ANYTHING he's selling.
On a more serious note, yes they communicate with one another and their language contains what sounds like an Asian or Native American language along with growls, clicks,and other whines and animal sounds throughout. What I heard was spoken with speed, like Japanese. They use the same words in similar situations, which convinced me that it was infact a specified use rather than haphazard sounds.

UFO’s would be interested in BigFoot for the simple reason that it’s a genuine - top of range - apex predator.
It’s some comfort knowing that humanity is two to three notches down from being at the top of the food chain…
At first, the pet theory seemed a far stretch. And I laughed. But if we consider that earth is a biological, DNA sanctuary per the ancient UFO underpinnings then its at least worth considering that that earth is just the back yard or part there of a larger estate. Appreciate the thinking out of the box approach to this.

The part of the documentary where the man says he thinks Bigfoot is a "pet" made me lose my interest in hearing anything else he had to say. The other guy gave so much information and made so much sense that I could listen to him all day. It is a shame that others on these programs aren't as serious and informative as he is.

In Ireland I seen a hairy faun color biped one evening a few years ago, I told a local folklorist. He said it could be a Púca, shape shifter in Irish mythology. I was out fishing this evening off a beach in Co Clare Ireland listened to this on the way home. I enjoyed your observations and opinions. I sent footage of orbs and strang behavior from an owl in Ireland to sasquatch theory, it got great feedback.
Owl's are often seen in and around UFO/UAP phenomena and some top researchers like Jacque Vallee think that the phenomena changes depending on the cultural times cloaking itself in something that we people might find currently acceptable.

Six million dollar man was my first introduction to bigfoot too. I remember him busting out of piles of rocks lol.
The $6 Dollar Man was cool. Remember the episode with the robot clone played by the sherif in Halloween
2017 I was on my way home from work. I was working in Washington, D. C. I was driving 66 West. Took 23 The Plains. Pass the Wineries and Farms. About 33 miles from Rt. 50. Around 0130. Notice something in the sky to the left. It was wobbling orange/yellow. I was doing around 60mp. I slowed down to take a better look. It wasn't an Airplane or Helicopter. It just wobbled. Then dropped straight down out of the sky. I slammed on my brakes. Rolled down my window to hear a BOOM or see fire. Nothing not a sound. No crickets, frogs, owl NOTHING. It was like someone putting their hands over my ears. I told myself if I see three grey small men. I'm going to run them over. I am not a welcoming committee. I cross over the Shenandoah River. On my way to Rt.50 left turn at the T. Then straight to Winchester, Virginia or West Virginia.
The next day, my daughter and I was on our way down the mountain from Winchester. We saw Military trucks, tanks, jeeps and men in full gear at the Shell Gas station. We were wondering what was going on. 🤔 💭 I drove about 10 mile away. I said to my daughters. LOOK WHAT IS THAT COMING OUT OF THE WOODS ??? IT LOOK LIKE A BEAR WALKING UP RIGHT. THAT WAS NOT A BEAR. HIS LEGS WERE TOO LONG. I LAYED ON MY HORN. HE WALK OUT INTO THE STREET. STOPED AND TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK INTO THE WOODS. I turn to my daughter and ask. DID TOU TAKE A PICTURE AND THEN SHE SAID DID YOU? I 🤔 the Military was looking for him. I do not live in Winchester Virginia anymore. I moved to Culpeper, Virginia. True story!

It always amazes me nowadays when people say, "Why don't we have pictures or footage of Bigfoot? " we do! The PG film from 1967 is great footage! It's just from 1967 and everyone thinks it's been debunked 100 times over. I thought the very same thing until I watched everything I could find on it, both for and against. I came to the conclusion that, if I want to make a rational, sane, and unbiased decision on it, I am forced to say it's the best footage of a real Sasquatch that has ever been captured. Could I be wrong? Sure. But the evidence doesn't point that way.

Bigfoot aren't shapeshifters, ufonauts, interdimensional travelers, etc. I am Yupik Alaska Native. Our Elders say Urayuli (Hairy Man) is a fully biological living creature. He doesn't shapeshift, travel interdimensionally, ride on UFO's, have orbs, or other spiritual phenomenon. We do have stories about the Amikuk that is a shapeshifter, is often seen with lights, orbs, and other spiritual phenomenon. I think people who see Bigfoot that have those phenomenon are seeing the Amikuk. Amikuk are bad. They're spirits who can take on a physical form, but they aren't biological.

The men in the pipe is the first time a story truly terrified me and made me panic. It would then turn to absolute rage for me as I learned of the decision to not try and rescue them.
See the old film: The Legend of Bigfoot. Actual video evidence is clear and undeniable.
Great documentary, I greatly enjoyed every minute of it, and when Mr. Martin theorized that Sasquatches are the pets of E.T.'s and they are stopping here for a potty break', well that is still blowing my mind as I type this. Although I am more than somewhat confident that a highly intelligent and super advanced race of beings, capable of interstellar travel and possibly time travel, would have worked out the whole, 'shitting-in-space' thing by now, but maybe not who knows. Thank you for making it and sharing it with us, we are blessed. A side note, I have heard many indigenous peoples on this continent say they don't relate to nor even like the term, 'Native Americans' stating that their peoples were here long before this land was called America and they wish nothing to do with it. Imo rightfully so, for 'America', meaning Americans at the time, meaning the Europeans that settled here, were not very kind to their people, to say the very least. Personally, I fast (eat no food) on the holiday Americans call Thanksgiving, where most Americans stuff their pie holes and feast like pigs, not realizing or just not caring that it is a slap in the face for many generations of indigenous peoples. I am 'thankful' everyday, for many things, which I verbally thank the universe daily, but I am NOT thankful for the European heritage running through me that did unspeakably horrible things to the original peoples here at the time, men, women AND children and I so I work daily, for 57 years, to spread knowledge, peace, awareness and compassion...AND the fact that Sasquatches are REAL!

The only thing I heard in this that was new was the idea about the motion sensor trail cams making a noise like that.. makes more sense than the infrared idea.

Regarding Sasquatch tracks:
tracks are sometimes found
in-line, not side by side like a human, but similar to a chimp (yet so much larger.) Watching chimps walking on a narrow branch, I noticed that they put one foot directly in front of the other (so that they don’t fall off).
Maybe that’s why Sasquatch tracks are often in a single line instead of side by side, maybe their tree climbing ancestry (and current tree climbing behavior) has influenced the way they walk on ground?
I have a picture of a footpeint i found in my freshly dug garden. I always get woken up to noises in my yard at night, my motion light being activated, a cery FOUL smell sometimes outaide my house when i get woke up in the middle of the night. I took a pic of a print with my foot beside it and its HUGE in comparison

One of the most interesting things I saw some years back, was how a guy had taken all the reports around a certain mountainous area in Colorado going back I think over 100 years (?) and compared the time of year of the sightings with the elevation. What a coincidence they were more sightings in the higher elevations in the summer and lower elevation reports during the winter months. With spring and fall in between. I thought that was genius to think to look at that. Because obviously that's also exactly where the deer are at those times of year. Because that's where the vegetation is growing. I highly doubt that if all those reported sightings were hoaxes people 100+ years ago 'all' independently thought to claim they saw these animals at the elevations one would expect to see them for the corresponding time of year.

Yes, the Six Million Dollar man , was my 1st show of Big Foot , too .Played by Andre The Giant . But I had all ready had my sighting with some of my family On a back road out in the woods in the fall of 1974 / Spring 1975 time frame . Not sure if I had seen the Patty film, yet at that time ? Seeing on how we went to the drive in movies on a Friday / Sat nights every week end ?
While the Patterson-Gimlin was played in front of scientists -- first screening for a large group of scientists may have been in the late 1960s in British Columbia if I remember correctly(?) --, the public didn't see it at large until a documentary licensed the footage. That documentary was released 1972/1973. Then, The Mysterious Monsters documentary hosted by Peter Graves was released between 1975 and 1978? That aired on an American network, one of the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) pre-cable for most of us.
Disney also produced its own cryptid documentary around the time of Pete's Dragon. This short film is titled "Man, Monsters and Mysteries." (The animated crypid in that film was the Loch Ness Monster, made decades before another animated film about Nessie called "The Ballad of Nessie.") In fact, that documentary is on the old "Gold label" release of the Pete's Dragon DVD which I own. Disney was SO CHEAP that they only used a STILL from the Patt-Gimlin footage and not the actual 16mm film itself!

I honestly do not believe that Bigfoot, Sasquatch, etc. is real. However, I have always been fascinated by the growing mythology. Because that mythology continues to grow. And, I have spoken with several people in the last decade, who honestly believe that they have in fact seen a Sasquatch. Their stories are always very interesting to me. Regardless of my own beliefs, I have yet to see any actual evidence (Like everyone else in the world). Unless someone actually captures one, and it is witnessed and documented, and recorded for real, then I will never believe in this.

Try taking a guitar out to the research area and see if the sounds brings in a Sasquatch? I appreciate your attempts to understand this phenomenon, even outside of the proverbial box. I encourage you Roderick to get caught up to speed on "all" the bigfoot material though because it seems like you are reinventing the wheel in some respects and in other respects you aren't even looking at the wheel. Bigfoot clearly uses language that is more complex than even our own language. Their sounds have been recorded and it has been acknowledged that their language reaches into areas that we cannot hear with the human ear. You are also missing out on the "mind" reading aspect of bigfoot. He is able to sense intent and actually read our minds, so, to sneak up on him...not going to happen. There is also footage of him "phasing" out as the camera is rolling so that we can see a ghost-like form moving. I like that you are considering "who" bigfoot is with regard to him being a "pet" to aliens. Another thing is very evident in that they create structures to sleep in. There are several documentaries that show these huts where they sleep. In a far away "land", these "orbs" that also show up when they are around, seem to be the shape of the soul. Round is a "perfect" shape and therefor we definitely need to assume sentience. You may want to look into many other accounts that regarding "aliens" on earth. I'm aware that mainstream media has only began to "tip-toe" into this subject but there is quite a bit of evidence that Aliens and Humans are working together in numerous underground bases within our borders. It absolutely makes sense that these bigfoots (bigfeet? lol) are being used to keep other people and beings away from certain hidden bases where untoward experiments are being done. The base at Dulce, NM is one of these sites, for example. It makes sense that our government and others who are involved in the Alien/bigfoot phenomenon do not want us to find a body because there are actually instances where a body was found and confiscated. This is rare, as posts do not remain online for long. There is another point that I want to make to people who seem to cling to this biological animal explanation for bigfoot and others who think that bigfoot actually "runs" through the woods catching deer and other super fast animals. We know that he is very large but he still would not be able to catch a deer in a foot race. Maybe he would win an endurance race but the chase would be long, noisy, and would leave many deep tracks and such. Besides, bigfoot doesn't exactly sneak up on anything with the intense odor he emits. Not as if we need any guesses for why he smells so bad because "lack of proper hygene" and blood and guts all over his matted fur would definitely be enough of an explanation, but has anyone considered that there might be a smell associated with opening a rift or dimension of sorts. I suspect that opening some sort of portal would require some sort of electromagnetic current of sorts and likely does leave some form of odor, though not necessarily an "electrical" type odor. Nonetheless, there is evidence that the powers that be have bread and are using these bigfeet for their own purposes, likely that of keeping people away from their very secret underground laboratories and such. With the bigfoot's strong psychic component to their physiology, it would not be unlike certain factions within our universe to use this as a way to control this rather large, peaceful creature for their own purpose. Sort of sad, but feasible.
I guess I didn't clarify that when they hunt they must use there interdimensional ability, then ambush the poor deer after the deer has been herded in numbers to a certain location by avoiding the smell. Also, as I continue to listen, psychic sensitivity is exactly what it sounds like. They are highly sensitive to sounds and frequencies that even we cannot hear. This includes all electronics and batteries of all types. When planting a camera on a tree to get a picture of a bigfoot, we don't realize that these beings can sense these traps from likely a quarter mile away. Not only can they sense its presence from far away, it irritates and disrupts their homeostasis enough to piss them off to a degree. There are many instances where a bigfoot has destroyed a camera or turned it completely around on a tree. If I were a researcher I would get a camera that can take long distance photos or videos and place them 30-40 feet up in a tree where they will be less likely to be irritated by them and you can get a picture or video from a distance. Close up is going to be next to impossible because they can sense even the voltage of the batteries.
Holy Shit Roderick, there are very, very, very few hoaxes of bigfoot. on any credible shows these prints are spaced way too far apart and there are no human footprints near. This is bigfoot 101. Forget the hoax shit. Any that are hoaxes are figured out immediately. Noone is going to track around the woods in a bigfoot costume during hunting season either, or during the dark. I've always thought the concerns of protecting these animals seems almost silly. Simply because we can't even find them most of the time. They seem to be doing just fine on their own without our help. In fact, us 'helping' them would probably be the worst thing that could ever happen to the species. Seems like every time we try to help/manage mother nature we just screw it up. Mother nature has been here an awful long time and has done just fine doing it's own thing. (Although we definitely need to be careful with our procedures for harvesting resources such as lumber, mining, drilling for oil, etc. I still think we can do those things we just need to be a little more careful about how we do it. I'm reminded of the old TV show the Walton's, where the grandfather always taught the boys that whenever you cut down a tree plant two more in it's place. Seems pretty simple and logical to me. Why the hell we're not doing that everywhere we do our logging is beyond me. Human greed - ugh)
Big foots have been described in a Hindu Scripture called #Ramayan and they were the part of the Lord Ram's army who fought against the army of the Demon King Ravan of Sri Lanka.. They used to pick up trees big stones and throw on the enemy army. Same thing Big foots are doing today. They have been described as a Bear man. They are half humans half bears. I would really love to see somebody take the approach of having somebody record the explorers, researchers, or whomever is out looking for Bigfoot, Or whatever paranormal thing you're looking for, from a distance.......

That tells you something. To add another layer. Have somebody watching from halfway around the world. just for s**** and giggles.. Have them watch the feed.

So basically take a little bit of the UFO UAP approach with Bigfoot, train your cameras and equipment on hot spots, and as I suggested, train it on the explorers and researchers whom go out looking.......

I've seen young saplings bent over and a piece of wood or log laid on top of trees top to the ground. Thr arch was growing roots from that trees top held to thr ground.

It's so very very true about modern people losing their sensory capabilities because of technological advances and living in noisy built up areas.
That ESP is something we are all capable of having if we give it a chance. And we are losing because we don't use it, is true.
We know of native peoples who have tremendous survival skills that use sensory awareness to the maximum . So why not the Big guys.
But on another note:- what if government scientists are taking bigfoot and genetically modifying them to be weapons of war. So that's why the secrecy about them and why some Bigfoot are nasty.

Um let me start off about the Bigfoot that lives around here were I live , there's a family of them and I started to notice them by accident, I am a survivalist one particular day I was out Gathering wild plants to eat for supper and that day changed my life for ever, I saw a small or young Bigfoot and his mother I stood very still so not to get hurt or anything like that she was watching me and went over and picked the little one up she looked at me and showed her teeth then she took off in the woods, well my hart was betting so hard I was thinking I was having a hart attack, any way , months later I went back to that place and left a few goodies a open jar of peanut butter and some candy and cookies, the next day it was all gone, well I did the same thing and 2 days later I went back and there was some stuff left for me and I saw them that same day I started to take out my phone and as soon as I pointed it at them they took off so fast I've never seen any one run that fast , I keep trying to get a photo but if I even try poof there gone.

I subscribed because I watched this whole video. Again, I have always found these stories fascinating. I am also an indie-comic creator trying to get my name out there, and one of the many stories that I have been working on, involved Sasquatch, and another supernatural creature. But the story focusses more on the people in the area. BLOOD MOON MOUNTAIN: DARKENRIDGE. Anyhow, writing this story has pulled me back into doing some passive research about Big Foot, and like so many I now have my own interpretation built on some facts that I am aware of (Not related to Sasquatch mythology that I am aware of) but still, interesting to be pieced together. This video touched on a few things that lead me to my own theory regarding Sasquatch. I might do a video about this on my own channel sometime soon. Just to draw more attention to my channel, and because it is an interest of mine.
